أعلن اللاعب ورئيس نادي الوحدة السابق حاتم خيمي، عبر حسابه في منصة «إكس»، نيته دراسة الترشح لرئاسة الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم في الانتخابات القادمة.
وقال خيمي إنه سيطلع على جميع اللوائح والأنظمة المعمول بها في مثل هذه الحالات، قبل أن يتخذ قراره النهائي بشأن الترشح.
ويُعد خيمي من أبرز الشخصيات الرياضية التي جمعت بين الخبرة الكروية، لاعباً لنادي الوحدة والمنتخب الوطني لأكثر من 25 عاماً، ومدرباً ورئيساً للنادي خلال فترتين حقق خلالهما نجاحات نالت رضى الجماهير الوحداوية.
كما أنه أستاذ محاضر بجامعة أم القرى، ما يمنحه مقومات أساسية ترفع حظوظه في الفوز برئاسة الاتحاد.
The player and former president of Al-Wehda Club, Hatim Khaymi, announced through his account on the "X" platform his intention to consider running for the presidency of the Saudi Football Federation in the upcoming elections.
Khaymi stated that he will review all the regulations and systems applicable in such cases before making his final decision regarding the candidacy.
Khaymi is considered one of the prominent sports figures who has combined football experience, having played for Al-Wehda Club and the national team for over 25 years, as well as serving as a coach and president of the club during two periods in which he achieved successes that pleased Al-Wehda fans.
He is also a lecturer at Umm Al-Qura University, which provides him with essential qualifications that enhance his chances of winning the presidency of the federation.
