أعلن نادي الخليج تعاقده مع لاعب منتخب غينيا الاستوائية عمر ماسكاريل قادماً من ريال مايوركا الإسباني، في خطوة تهدف إلى تعزيز خط الوسط قبل انطلاق الموسم الجديد.
ويملك ماسكاريل خبرة كبيرة في الملاعب الأوروبية، إذ سبق له تمثيل ريال مدريد خلال موسم 2012-2013، قبل أن يخوض عدة تجارب احترافية في إسبانيا وألمانيا.
وخلال موسم 2025-2026 مع ريال مايوركا، شارك لاعب المحور في 32 مباراة بمختلف المسابقات، سجل خلالها هدفين وصنع هدفين، ليواصل تقديم مستويات مميزة بفضل خبرته الكبيرة وقدراته في افتكاك الكرات وبناء اللعب من العمق.
وتأمل إدارة الخليج أن يشكل اللاعب إضافة فنية قوية للفريق خلال منافسات الموسم القادم، مستفيدة من خبراته الدولية وتجربته الطويلة في الملاعب الأوروبية.
The Al-Khaleej Club announced its signing of Equatorial Guinea national team player Omar Mascarell, coming from Spanish club Real Mallorca, in a move aimed at strengthening the midfield ahead of the new season.
Mascarell has extensive experience in European football, having previously represented Real Madrid during the 2012-2013 season, before embarking on several professional stints in Spain and Germany.
During the 2025-2026 season with Real Mallorca, the midfielder participated in 32 matches across various competitions, scoring two goals and assisting two others, continuing to deliver impressive performances thanks to his vast experience and abilities in ball recovery and building play from deep.
The Al-Khaleej management hopes that the player will provide a strong technical addition to the team during the upcoming season, benefiting from his international experience and long career in European football.
