سجلت المنتخبات العربية بداية متباينة في منافسات كأس العالم 2026، بعدما انتهت خمس مباريات عربية في الجولة الأولى بتحقيق أربعة تعادلات مقابل خسارة وحيدة حتى الآن.
وخرج المنتخب السعودي بنقطة ثمينة بعد تعادله 1-1 مع منتخب أوروغواي، في مواجهة شهدت أداءً دفاعياً مميزاً من «الأخضر» أمام أحد أبرز منتخبات أمريكا الجنوبية.
كما فرض المنتخب المصري التعادل 1-1 على منتخب بلجيكا، بعدما تقدم بهدف إمام عاشور قبل أن يدرك البلجيكيون التعادل في الشوط الثاني.
في المقابل، تلقى المنتخب التونسي خسارة قاسية أمام السويد بنتيجة 5-1.
وتعكس هذه النتائج بداية حذرة للمنتخبات العربية المشاركة في النسخة التاريخية من المونديال، التي تشهد حضوراً عربياً قياسياً بثمانية منتخبات هي: السعودية، مصر، تونس، المغرب، الجزائر، العراق، الأردن، قطر.
وتتطلع الجماهير العربية إلى أن تنجح المنتخبات المتبقية في تحقيق أول انتصاراتها خلال الجولات القادمة، لتعزيز فرص التأهل إلى الأدوار الإقصائية في أكبر نسخة بتاريخ المونديال.
The Arab teams recorded a varied start in the 2026 World Cup competitions, with five Arab matches in the first round ending in four draws and only one loss so far.
The Saudi team secured a valuable point after drawing 1-1 with the Uruguay team, in a match that showcased a remarkable defensive performance from the "Green" against one of the top teams in South America.
The Egyptian team also managed to draw 1-1 with the Belgian team, after taking the lead with a goal from Imam Ashour before the Belgians equalized in the second half.
In contrast, the Tunisian team suffered a heavy defeat against Sweden with a score of 5-1.
These results reflect a cautious start for the Arab teams participating in this historic edition of the World Cup, which features a record Arab presence with eight teams: Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, Iraq, Jordan, and Qatar.
The Arab fans are hopeful that the remaining teams will succeed in achieving their first victories in the upcoming rounds, to enhance their chances of qualifying for the knockout stages in the largest edition in World Cup history.
