غادر القاهرة رباعي التحكيم المصري، المشاركون في كأس العالم، أمين عمر حكماً للساحة، ومحمود أبوالرجال، وأحمد حسام طه، مساعدين، ومحمود عاشور حكماً لتقنية الفيديو، لتمثيل مصر في بطولة كأس العالم التي ستقام بداية من 11 يونيو وحتى 19 يوليو 2026، فيما ستشهد النسخة الأكبر من البطولة العالمية بنحو 104 مباريات، ويشارك فيها 48 منتخباً في 16 مدينة مضيفة، موزعة على دول كندا والمكسيك والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية.
ويشارك الطاقم المصري في معسكر تحضيري للمونديال بمدينة ميامي، حتى يوم 9 يونيو تحت إشراف الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم.
وتشهد هذه النسخة لبطولة كأس العالم وللمرة الأولى في تاريخ التحكيم المصري، ظهور أربعة حكام مصريين لتمثيل بلادهم في هذا الحدث التاريخي، حيث يعد هذا الظهور مردوداً مشرفاً للتحكيم المصري.
ويأتي ظهور الحكام المصريين بالمحافل الدولية في إطار الثقة، التي يحظى بها التحكيم المصري على المستوى المحلي والقاري والدولي، وحضوره البارز في جميع المحافل الخارجية.
The Egyptian refereeing quartet, participating in the World Cup, has left Cairo: Amin Omar as the main referee, Mahmoud Abou Elregal and Ahmed Hesham Taha as assistants, and Mahmoud Ashour as the Video Assistant Referee, to represent Egypt in the World Cup that will take place from June 11 to July 19, 2026. This largest edition of the global tournament will feature approximately 104 matches, with 48 teams participating across 16 host cities in Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
The Egyptian team will participate in a preparatory camp for the World Cup in Miami until June 9 under the supervision of the International Football Federation.
This edition of the World Cup will witness, for the first time in the history of Egyptian refereeing, the appearance of four Egyptian referees representing their country in this historic event, marking a commendable achievement for Egyptian officiating.
The presence of Egyptian referees in international arenas reflects the trust that Egyptian officiating enjoys at the local, continental, and international levels, as well as its prominent presence in all external events.
