سلط اﻻتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم FIFA الضوء على القائمة اﻷولية لمنتخبنا الوطني اﻷول لكرة القدم المشارك في كأس العالم 2026 وذلك عبر موقعه الرسمي في الشبكة العنكبوتية.
وأكد اﻻتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم بأن القائمة ضمت 30 لاعباً في الوقت الحالي، وشملت مجموعة من اللاعبين البارزين، من ضمنهم سالم الدوسري الذي توج بجائزة أفضل لاعب في آسيا مرتين (2022، 2025)، كما أثبت حضوره مع المنتخب السعودي وناديه الهلال في البطولات الكبرى باستمرار، وهو يحمل شارة القيادة في الأخضر حالياً.
كما يتواجد سعود عبدالحميد ظهير لانس الفرنسي، الذي قدم مستويات رائعة هذا الموسم، إذ خاض 31 مباراة في مختلف المسابقات، وساهم في 11 هدفاً، مع تحقيق لقب كأس فرنسا على حساب نيس. كما تضم القائمة أسماء مهمة مثل محمد كنو، والمهاجم المخضرم صالح الشهري، ورأس الحربة المميز فراس البريكان، وغيرهم.
ويعد مصعب الجوير أصغر لاعبي المنتخب السعودي سناً، إذ سيتم عامه الـ23 خلال كأس العالم، وبالتحديد يوم 20 يونيو القادم، قبل يوم واحد فقط من مباراة الأخضر ضد إسبانيا. علماً أن الأخضر سيواجه أوروغواي والرأس الأخضر أيضاً ضمن منافسات المجموعة الثامنة.
وأوضح المدرب اليوناني دونيس الجدول المعد للمنتخب السعودي استعداداً لكأس العالم 2026، إذ سيسافر إلى نيويورك في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية يوم 25 مايو لخوض معسكر تدريبي لعدة أيام، على أن يخوض مباراته الودية الأولى ضد الإكوادور في نيوجيرسي يوم 30 مايو، قبل أن يسافر إلى تكساس يوم 1 يونيو، ثم يخوض مواجهتين وديتين ضد بورتوريكو يوم 5 يونيو، وضد السنغال يوم 9 يونيو.

The FIFA confirmed that the list currently includes 30 players, featuring a group of prominent players, including Salem Al-Dawsari, who has won the Asian Player of the Year award twice (2022, 2025). He has consistently proven his presence with the Saudi national team and his club Al-Hilal in major tournaments, and he currently wears the captain's armband for the Green Falcons.
Also included is Saud Abdulhamid, a defender for French club Lens, who has delivered outstanding performances this season, having played 31 matches across various competitions and contributed to 11 goals, along with winning the French Cup against Nice. The list also features important names such as Mohammed Kanno, veteran striker Saleh Al-Shehri, and distinguished forward Firas Al-Buraikan, among others.
Musab Al-Juwair is the youngest player in the Saudi national team, as he will turn 23 during the World Cup, specifically on June 20, just one day before the Green Falcons' match against Spain. It is worth noting that the Green Falcons will also face Uruguay and Cape Verde in the group stage.
The Greek coach Donis outlined the schedule prepared for the Saudi national team in preparation for the 2026 World Cup, as they will travel to New York in the United States on May 25 for a training camp lasting several days. They will play their first friendly match against Ecuador in New Jersey on May 30, before traveling to Texas on June 1, where they will play two more friendlies against Puerto Rico on June 5 and against Senegal on June 9.
