أكد مدرب المنتخب الأردني جمال سلامي في حديثه لـ«عكاظ» أن قرعة بطولة آسيا وضعت منتخب النشامى أمام تحديات قوية، مشيرًا إلى أن جميع المنتخبات المشاركة تمتلك حضورًا ومستويات متقاربة.
وقال سلامي: «وقعنا في مجموعة تضم منتخب أوزبكستان، وهو منتخب قوي ومتأهل إلى كأس العالم، إضافة إلى البحرين وكوريا الشمالية، وجميعها منتخبات تستحق الاحترام».
وأضاف: «علينا أن نستعد بالشكل الأمثل، لأن مثل هذه البطولات تحتاج إلى جاهزية كبيرة وتركيز عالٍ، لكننا في الوقت ذاته نمتلك فرصة مهمة لاكتساب المزيد من الخبرات والاحتكاك القوي».
وأشار مدرب النشامى إلى أن المشاركة العالمية تمثل محطة مهمة للكرة الأردنية، مبينًا أن تراكم الخبرات سيسهم في تجهيز المنتخب بصورة أفضل للاستحقاقات القادمة، وعلى رأسها كأس آسيا.
وختم سلامي حديثه بقوله: «المكاسب الفنية كبيرة في مثل هذه البطولات، خصوصًا مع مواجهة منتخبات قوية، ونحن نؤمن بقدرتنا على التطور وتقديم مستويات أفضل في المستقبل».
Jordanian national team coach Jamal Salami confirmed in his talk to "Okaz" that the draw for the Asian Championship has placed the Al-Nashama team in front of strong challenges, noting that all participating teams have a strong presence and similar levels.
Salami said: "We are in a group that includes the Uzbekistan national team, which is a strong team and has qualified for the World Cup, in addition to Bahrain and North Korea, all of which are teams that deserve respect."
He added: "We need to prepare in the best possible way, as such tournaments require great readiness and high concentration, but at the same time we have an important opportunity to gain more experience and strong competition."
Salami pointed out that global participation represents an important milestone for Jordanian football, indicating that the accumulation of experiences will contribute to better preparing the team for upcoming challenges, foremost of which is the Asian Cup.
Salami concluded his remarks by saying: "The technical gains are significant in such tournaments, especially when facing strong teams, and we believe in our ability to develop and present better levels in the future."
