«أصدقاء الأمس أعداء اليوم» مثلٌ ينطبق 3 مرات على مواجهة الليلة، التي ستجمع ممثل الوطن فريق الشباب ونظيره فريق الريان القطري على نهائي دوري أبطال الخليج للأندية.
إذ يواجه عبدالرزاق حمدالله مهاجم الشباب أصدقاءه بالأمس لاعبي فريق الريان، إذ سبق أن ارتدى الشعار ذاته معهم عام 2018 قبل أن ينتقل للنصر.
أما علي البليهي مدافع الشباب فسيجد نفسه مضطراً للدفاع عن شباك فريقه أمام صديقه بالأمس المهاجم الصربي ميتروفيتش (مهاجم الريان القطري)، وكانا قد تشاركا الأفراح بلون القميص ذاته عندما لعبا معاً بشعار الهلال.
وأخيراً سيقود الإسباني فيسنتي مورينو مدرب الريان القطري فريقه لانتزاع اللقب الخليجي من الفريق الذي سبق أن دربه عام 2022م، فقد تولى مورينو مهمة تدريب الشباب في تلك الفترة، ووصل معه لدور الثمانية في دوري أبطال آسيا قبل أن يغادر المسابقة بعد الخسارة من الدحيل القطري.
