يستعد المنتخب السعودي للناشئات تحت 17 عاماً، للمشاركة في بطولة اتحاد غرب آسيا السادسة لكرة القدم، التي تستضيفها الأردن، في الفترة من 17 - 27 يوليو القادم، بمشاركة 8 منتخبات، هي: الأردن «المستضيف»، السعودية، الإمارات، البحرين، العراق، سورية، فلسطين، لبنان.
وأجريت قرعة البطولة، اليوم، وأسفرت عن تسكين المنتخب السعودي في المجموعة (A) إلى جانب منتخبات سورية، لبنان، والإمارات.
وأكدت مدير إدارة كرة القدم النسائية عالية الرشيد أهمية مشاركة المنتخب السعودي في هذا الحدث الآسيوي، الذي يمثّل محطة مهمة في إعداد الأخضر وجاهزيته للاستحقاقات القادمة، مبينة أن تلك المشاركات ضمن خطة إعداد طويلة تهدف إلى تطوير مستوى اللاعبات، وصقل قدراتهن من خلال الاحتكاك مع منتخبات مميزة في المنطقة.
The Saudi national team for girls under 17 is preparing to participate in the sixth West Asian Football Federation Championship, hosted by Jordan, from July 17 to 27, with the participation of 8 teams: Jordan (the host), Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, Iraq, Syria, Palestine, and Lebanon.
The draw for the tournament was held today, resulting in the Saudi team being placed in Group (A) alongside the teams from Syria, Lebanon, and the UAE.
Alia Al-Rashid, Director of Women's Football, emphasized the importance of the Saudi team's participation in this Asian event, which represents a significant milestone in preparing the Green team for upcoming challenges. She indicated that these participations are part of a long-term preparation plan aimed at developing the players' skills and honing their abilities through exposure to distinguished teams in the region.
