تعرض مهاجم فريق جوهر الماليزي «ديسلفا» لإصابة خطيرة، إثر احتكاكه القوي مع المدافع الأهلاي علي مجرشي، في الشوط الأول من مواجهة الفريقين التي جمعتهما على ملعب مدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية بجدة، ضمن مباريات دور الثمانية من بطولة دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة، فقد إثرها اللاعب الوعي وتم نقله لأقرب مستشفى لإجراء الفحوصات اللازمة للتأكد من نوع الإصابة التي يعاني منها اللاعب في الرقبة والوجه، حيث تشير الفحوصات الأولية إلى أن اللاعب يعاني من دوخه وفقدان الوعي وبطء شديد في ردة الفعل، فيما أشهر حكم اللقاء الأردني «أدهم مخادمة» البطاقة الحمراء للاعب الأهلي.
