أكد محافظ صندوق الاستثمارات العامة ياسر الرميان، أن استثمار الصندوق في الأندية الرياضية حقق مستهدفاته، مشيراً إلى تسجيل نمو ملحوظ في الإيرادات التجارية وإيرادات حضور المباريات، إلى جانب ارتفاع إيرادات المتاجر والمنتجات الرسمية بنحو 120%، إضافة إلى تعزيز عوائد الرعايات.
وكشف الرميان، في رده على سؤال لـ«عكاظ»، خلال المؤتمر الصحفي الحكومي في الرياض أمس (الأربعاء)، عن الإعلان قريباً عن مفاجأة كبرى تتعلق بملف الاستثمار في الأندية، بالتعاون مع نائب المحافظ يزيد الحميد، في خطوة تعكس استمرار تطوير هذا القطاع وتعزيز جاذبيته الاستثمارية.
وقال، إن الصندوق ينظر إلى الأندية باعتبارها «شركات»، ويطبّق عليها منظومة متكاملة تُدار وفق أسس تجارية واحترافية، مؤكداً أن العدالة في الدعم «متحققة بشكل كامل» بين جميع شركات الأندية.
وأوضح، أن ما يُثار حول وجود تفاوت بين الأندية لا يعكس واقع آليات الصندوق، بل يرتبط بعوامل أخرى خارج نطاقه، من بينها اختلاف حجم الدعم والتبرعات التي تتلقاها بعض الأندية من أعضاء الشرف، ما قد يؤدي إلى تفاوت في الإمكانات.
وأشار إلى أن الصندوق يعمل وفق حوكمة واضحة وشاملة تضمن تكافؤ الفرص، مبيناً أن تجربة الاستثمار في الأندية حققت نجاحاً كبيراً على مختلف المستويات، سواء من حيث تنمية الإيرادات أو تعزيز الحضور الجماهيري.
ترقّب واسع.. والهلال في قلب التكهنات
تصريحات الرميان فجّرت موجة واسعة من التفاعل، إذ انقسمت التوقعات بين ناديي الهلال والنصر، مع ترجيحات أكبر تميل نحو الهلال، في ظل معطيات سابقة وتحوّلات استثمارية متسارعة يشهدها النادي.
وكانت «عكاظ» كشفت في ديسمبر 2025، عن اقتراب الأمير الوليد بن طلال من تملّك 75% من نادي الهلال، في صفقة تتجاوز قيمتها مليار ريال، بانتظار استكمال الترتيبات النهائية بين الأطراف المعنية، ما أعاد هذا الملف إلى الواجهة مجدداً مع تصريحات الرميان الأخيرة.
مشروع التخصيص.. من الدعم إلى التمكين
يأتي هذا التطور ضمن مسار مشروع الاستثمار والتخصيص للأندية الرياضية، الذي أطلقه ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز في يونيو 2023، بهدف بناء قطاع رياضي جاذب للاستثمار، وتمكين القطاع الخاص من قيادة المرحلة المقبلة.
ويرتكز المشروع على إحداث نقلة نوعية في الرياضة السعودية، عبر رفع كفاءة الأندية، وتعظيم إيرادات الدوري، واستقطاب الاستثمارات، بما يواكب مستهدفات رؤية 2030 في جعل الدوري السعودي ضمن أفضل 10 دوريات عالمياً. وضمن مستهدفات المشروع، تسعى الإستراتيجية إلى رفع إيرادات رابطة الدوري السعودي للمحترفين من 450 مليون ريال إلى أكثر من 1.8 مليار ريال سنوياً، إلى جانب زيادة القيمة السوقية للدوري من 3 مليارات إلى أكثر من 8 مليارات ريال، في مؤشر على التحول الاقتصادي المتسارع للقطاع الرياضي.
إعلان مرتقب.. وملف مفتوح على كل الاحتمالات
ومع اقتراب موعد الإعلان الرسمي، يبقى السؤال مفتوحًا: هل يكون الهلال هو الصفقة الكبرى الأولى في مرحلة التخارج؟ أم تحمل الساعات القادمة مفاجأة مختلفة تعيد رسم خريطة الاستثمار الرياضي في المملكة؟
The Governor of the Public Investment Fund, Yasir Al-Rumayyan, confirmed that the Fund's investment in sports clubs has achieved its objectives, noting a significant growth in commercial revenues and match attendance revenues, alongside a rise in revenues from stores and official products by about 120%, in addition to enhancing sponsorship returns.
Al-Rumayyan revealed, in response to a question from "Okaz," during the government press conference in Riyadh yesterday (Wednesday), that a major surprise related to the investment in clubs will be announced soon, in collaboration with the Deputy Governor, Yazid Al-Humaid, in a step that reflects the ongoing development of this sector and enhances its investment attractiveness.
He stated that the Fund views clubs as "companies," applying a comprehensive system managed according to commercial and professional principles, emphasizing that fairness in support is "fully achieved" among all club companies.
He clarified that the discussions surrounding disparities among clubs do not reflect the reality of the Fund's mechanisms but are related to other factors outside its scope, including the varying levels of support and donations received by some clubs from honorary members, which may lead to differences in capabilities.
He pointed out that the Fund operates under clear and comprehensive governance that ensures equal opportunities, indicating that the investment experience in clubs has achieved significant success on various levels, whether in terms of revenue growth or enhancing fan attendance.
Widespread anticipation... and Al-Hilal at the center of speculations
Al-Rumayyan's statements sparked a wide wave of reactions, as expectations divided between Al-Hilal and Al-Nasr clubs, with greater indications leaning towards Al-Hilal, given previous data and rapid investment transformations witnessed by the club.
"Okaz" revealed in December 2025 that Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal was close to acquiring 75% of Al-Hilal Club, in a deal exceeding one billion riyals, awaiting the completion of final arrangements between the concerned parties, which brought this file back to the forefront again with Al-Rumayyan's recent statements.
Privatization project... from support to empowerment
This development comes as part of the investment and privatization project for sports clubs, launched by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz in June 2023, aimed at building an attractive sports sector for investment and empowering the private sector to lead the next phase.
The project focuses on making a qualitative leap in Saudi sports by enhancing club efficiency, maximizing league revenues, and attracting investments, in line with the objectives of Vision 2030 to make the Saudi league among the top 10 leagues globally. Among the project's objectives, the strategy aims to increase the revenues of the Saudi Professional League from 450 million riyals to over 1.8 billion riyals annually, alongside raising the market value of the league from 3 billion to over 8 billion riyals, indicating the accelerating economic transformation of the sports sector.
Anticipated announcement... and an open file with all possibilities
As the official announcement date approaches, the question remains open: Will Al-Hilal be the first major deal in the exit phase? Or will the coming hours bring a different surprise that redraws the map of sports investment in the Kingdom?
