في حادثة صادمة هزّت الوسط الرياضي في غانا، لقي لاعب نادي بيريكوم تشيلسي الغاني دومينيك فريمبونغ مصرعه، متأثراً بإصابته بطلق ناري في الرأس، إثر هجوم مسلح استهدف حافلة فريقه أثناء عودتها من مباراة في الدوري المحلي.
هجوم مباغت على طريق غواسو – بيبياني
تعرضت حافلة الفريق لإطلاق نار من قبل مسلحين، أثناء محاولتها الرجوع للخلف على طريق غواسو – بيبياني، في واقعة سطو مسلح تحولت إلى مأساة إنسانية. وأسفر الهجوم عن إصابة فريمبونغ (20 عاماً) إصابة مباشرة في الرأس، ليفارق الحياة لاحقاً في المستشفى، كضحية وحيدة للحادث.
صدمة كروية وبيان نعي رسمي
وأعلن الاتحاد الغاني لكرة القدم، اليوم (الاثنين)، وفاة اللاعب الشاب، معبّراً عن “صدمة شديدة وحزن عميق” إزاء الحادث المأساوي. وقدم الاتحاد تعازيه لأسرة اللاعب وزملائه في الفريق والجهازين الفني والإداري، مؤكداً أن الواقعة تركت أثراً بالغاً في مجتمع كرة القدم بأكمله.
موهبة صاعدة تنطفئ مبكراً
وكان فريمبونغ، المعار من نادي أدوانا إف سي، أحد أبرز المواهب الصاعدة في الدوري الغاني، حيث شارك في 13 مباراة هذا الموسم وسجل هدفين، قبل أن تنهي رصاصات الغدر مسيرته في بداياتها.

The attack resulted in Frimpong (20 years old) sustaining a direct gunshot wound to the head, leading to his death later in the hospital, making him the sole victim of the incident.
Football Shock and Official Condolences
The Ghana Football Association announced today (Monday) the death of the young player, expressing "deep shock and profound sadness" over the tragic incident. The association extended its condolences to the player's family, teammates, and the coaching and administrative staff, confirming that the incident left a significant impact on the entire football community.
A Rising Talent Snuffed Out Early
Frimpong, on loan from Aduana FC, was one of the most prominent rising talents in the Ghanaian league, having participated in 13 matches this season and scored two goals, before the treacherous bullets ended his career in its early stages.
