أكد لاعب نادي الاتحاد دانيلو بيريرا أن فريقه استقبل أهدافاً نتيجة أخطاء ارتكبها اللاعبون خلال مواجهة الديربي أمام النادي الأهلي ضمن منافسات دوري روشن السعودي.
وأوضح بيريرا، في تصريحات إعلامية عقب اللقاء، أن الجهاز الفني واللاعبين كانوا على دراية بالطريقة التي سيخوض بها الأهلي المباراة، مشيراً إلى أن الفريق استعد لها من خلال التدريبات، إلا أنه يرى أن الفريق لم يكن في أفضل جاهزية لخوض الديربي.
وأضاف أن الاتحاد سيعمل على تصحيح الأخطاء خلال الفترة القادمة، مبيناً أن تركيز الفريق سيتجه نحو الاستحقاقات القادمة، وفي مقدمتها منافسات كأس خادم الحرمين الشريفين، ودوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة، مؤكداً أن الفريق يضع البطولتين ضمن أولوياته خلال المرحلة القادمة.
Union Club player Danilo Pereira confirmed that his team conceded goals due to mistakes made by the players during the derby match against Al-Ahli Club in the Roshen Saudi League.
Pereira explained, in media statements after the match, that the coaching staff and players were aware of the way Al-Ahli would approach the game, noting that the team prepared for it through training. However, he believes that the team was not in the best condition to face the derby.
He added that Union will work on correcting the mistakes in the upcoming period, indicating that the team's focus will shift towards the upcoming commitments, primarily the King’s Cup and the AFC Champions League, confirming that the team prioritizes both tournaments in the next phase.
