أعلن نادي رد بل براغانتينو البرازيلي فرض عقوبة مالية على مدافعه غوستافو ماركيز، تقضي بخصم 50% من راتبه، وذلك على خلفية تصريحات وُصفت بالتمييزية بحق الحكمة داياني مونيز Daiane Muniz، عقب مباراة الفريق أمام ساو باولو، حيث قال :«المرأة لا ينبغي أن تدير مباراة بهذا الحجم».
كما قرر النادي استبعاد اللاعب من قائمة المباراة القادمة أمام أتلتيكو باراناينسي، مؤكداً أن قيمة الغرامة ستُخصص لصالح منظمة «ريندار» المعنية بدعم النساء في أوضاع اجتماعية هشّة بمدينة براغانسا باوليستا.
The Brazilian club Red Bull Bragantino announced a financial penalty on its defender Gustavo Marques, which involves a 50% deduction from his salary, following statements described as discriminatory against referee Daiane Muniz after the team's match against São Paulo, where he said: "A woman should not officiate a match of this magnitude."
The club also decided to exclude the player from the squad for the upcoming match against Atlético Paranaense, confirming that the amount of the fine will be allocated to the organization "Reindar," which is dedicated to supporting women in vulnerable social situations in the city of Bragança Paulista.
