تقام عند الساعة 11:00 من مساء اليوم (الخميس) 19 فبراير، مواجهة مرتقبة تجمع بين فريق «الحرس الوطني» بالقطاع الغربي وفريق «إدارة التعليم» بمحافظة جدة، وذلك في ثاني أيام منافسات دور الـ16 لبطولة «جدة 2026» لكرة القدم، المقامة على ملعب القرية الأولمبية.
وكان الحرس (حامل لقب نسخة 2025) قد تصدر المجموعة (B) برصيد 4 نقاط، فيما جاء التعليم وصيفاً للمجموعة (A) برصيد 4 نقاط أيضاً، ليدخل الفريقان لقاءً لا يقبل القسمة على اثنين؛ حيث يسعى «الحرس» لاستغلال قوته الهجومية وتوازنه الدفاعي، بينما يطمح «التعليم» لمواصلة المشوار مستنداً إلى تقارب المستوى الفني مع خصمه.
يُذكر أن الفائز سيتأهل لدور الـ8 لمواجهة المنتصر من مباراة «وزارة الرياضة» بمنطقة مكة المكرمة و«الشرطة» بمحافظة جدة، وذلك يوم الثلاثاء القادم الموافق 24 فبراير.
هذا ويستعد فريق «سلام الجامعة» من جدة لخوض مواجهة قوية حين يصطدم بفريق «BH» القادم من القنفذة، في ختام مباريات اليوم، ومن المقرر أن تنطلق المباراة عند الساعة 12:50 فجر الجمعة على ملعب القرية الأولمبية.
وكان «الجامعة» قد تأهل لهذا الدور بصفته متصدر المجموعة (F) بالعلامة الكاملة (6 نقاط)، ويسعى لاستغلال هيبة الصدارة باحثاً عن تأكيد تفوقه، وفي المقابل، تأهل فريق «BH» بصفته وصيف المجموعة (E) برصيد 3 نقاط، ويطمح للتمسك بروح العودة التي أظهرها في مباراته الأخيرة لمواصلة مشواره في البطولة.

The "University" team qualified for this round as the leader of Group (F) with a perfect score of 6 points, seeking to capitalize on its top position and confirm its superiority. On the other hand, the "BH" team qualified as the runner-up of Group (E) with 3 points, aiming to maintain the spirit of comeback it showed in its last match to continue its journey in the tournament.
