يطمح نادي الشارقة الإماراتي في حسم بطاقة التأهل للأدوار الإقصائية عندما يتقابل مع ضيفه ناساف الأوزبكي يوم غد (الإثنين)، على استاد مدينة الشارقة، ضمن الجولة الثامنة والأخيرة من منافسات منطقة الغرب في دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة 2025-2026.
ويحتاج الشارقة إلى النقاط الثلاث للإبقاء على حظوظه في التأهل، في حين انتهت بالفعل حملة ناساف بعدما حصد نقطة واحدة فقط من مبارياته السبع السابقة، وكان بإمكان الشارقة حسم تأهله إلى دور الـ16 لو حقق الفوز على الدحيل الأسبوع الماضي، لكنه سيدخل هذه المباراة واثقاً من حصد العلامة الكاملة أمام ناساف، إذ لم يسبق له أن خسر أمام الفريق الأوزبكي.
في المقابل، سيكون ناساف مصمماً على إنهاء مشواره بانتصار طال انتظاره، وقد أوقف تعادله في الأسبوع الماضي مع الشرطة العراقي سلسلة من سبع خسائر متتالية، إلا أن المهمة تبدو صعبة، إذ لم يحقق الفريق أي فوز في آخر ست مباريات أمام أندية الإمارات (تعادلان وأربع خسائر)، بما في ذلك خسارته في آخر ثلاث مواجهات من هذا النوع.
وكان الشارقة فاز في الجولة الأولى على الغرافة 4-3 في الشارقة، ثم تعادل في الجولة الثانية مع السد 1-1 في الدوحة، وخسر في الجولة الثالثة أمام تراكتور 0-5 في الشارقة، وخسر في الجولة الرابعة أمام الاتحاد 0-3 في جدة، وفاز في الجولة الخامسة على الأهلي 1-0 في جدة، وخسر في الجولة السادسة أمام الهلال 0-1 في الشارقة، وتعادل في الجولة السابعة مع الدحيل 1-1 في الدوحة.
فيما خسر ناساف في الجولة الأولى أمام الأهلي 2-4 في جدة، وخسر في الجولة الثانية أمام الهلال 2-3 في قرشي، وخسر في الجولة الثالثة أمام شباب الأهلي 1-4 في دبي، وخسر في الجولة الرابعة أمام الوحدة 1-2 في قرشي، وخسر في الجولة الخامسة أمام تراكتور 0-1 في قرشي، وخسر في الجولة السادسة أمام الاتحاد 0-1 في جدة، وتعادل في الجولة السابعة مع الشرطة 1-1 في فيرغانا.
The Sharjah Club from the UAE aims to secure a qualification spot for the knockout stages when they face their guest, Nasaf from Uzbekistan, tomorrow (Monday) at the Sharjah City Stadium, in the eighth and final round of the Western Zone competitions in the 2025-2026 AFC Champions League.
Sharjah needs the three points to keep their chances of qualification alive, while Nasaf's campaign has already ended after they collected only one point from their previous seven matches. Sharjah could have secured their place in the Round of 16 if they had won against Al-Duhail last week, but they will enter this match confident of achieving a full score against Nasaf, as they have never lost to the Uzbek team.
On the other hand, Nasaf will be determined to end their journey with a long-awaited victory, having halted their series of seven consecutive losses with a draw against Al-Shorta last week. However, the task seems difficult, as the team has not achieved any wins in their last six matches against UAE clubs (two draws and four losses), including losing their last three encounters of this kind.
