افتتح ريال مدريد التسجيل في الدقيقة 65 عن طريق ألفارو كاريراس، الذي راوغ دفاع فالنسيا داخل منطقة الجزاء، قبل أن يسدد كرة أرضية على يمين الحارس سكنت الشباك.
وقضى كيليان مبابي على آمال «الخفافيش» في الدقيقة 90+1، بتسجيل الهدف الثاني للميرنغي، بعد تمريرة أرضية أرسلها إبراهيم دياز من الجبهة اليسرى، قابلها المهاجم الفرنسي بتسديدة مباشرة في المرمى.
ترتيب الفريقين
بهذه النتيجة، رفع ريال مدريد رصيده إلى 57 نقطة في المركز الثاني بجدول ترتيب الليغا، ليقلص الفارق مع برشلونة المتصدر إلى نقطة واحدة.
في المقابل، تجمد رصيد فالنسيا عند 23 نقطة في المركز الـ17، بفارق نقطة واحدة فقط عن منطقة الهبوط.
