عودة بعد غياب طويل
وبلغ المنتخب المغربي، الذي تستضيف بلاده البطولة ووسط دعم جماهيري كبير، هذا الدور للمرة الأولى منذ عام 2004، علماً أن لقبه القاري الوحيد تحقق عام 1976.

افتتح إبراهيم دياز التسجيل للمنتخب المغربي في الدقيقة 26، بعدما تابع ضربة رأس من أيوب الكعبي، مسجلاً هدفه الخامس في البطولة، ليعزز صدارته لقائمة الهدافين.
وعزز إسماعيل صيباري تقدم «أسود الأطلس» بتسجيل الهدف الثاني في الدقيقة 74، بعد تسديدة أرضية قوية من داخل منطقة الجزاء، حسم بها المواجهة لصالح أصحاب الأرض.
انتظار المنافس المقبل
وينتظر المنتخب المغربي الفائز من مواجهة الجزائر ونيجيريا، المقررة اليوم (السبت)، لملاقاته في الدور نصف النهائي من البطولة.

Ibrahim Díaz opened the scoring for the Moroccan team in the 26th minute, after following up on a header from Ayoub El Kaabi, scoring his fifth goal in the tournament, thus reinforcing his lead in the top scorers' list.
Ismaïl Saïbari doubled the lead for the "Atlas Lions" by scoring the second goal in the 74th minute, with a powerful ground shot from inside the penalty area, securing the victory for the hosts.
Waiting for the next opponent
The Moroccan team is awaiting the winner of the match between Algeria and Nigeria, scheduled for today (Saturday), to face them in the semi-finals of the tournament.
