استكملت اليوم منافسات الجولة الختامية من بطولة العالم للراليات «رالي السعودية 2025 بدعم من جميل لرياضة المحركات»، الذي يقام للمرة الأولى في المملكة، ويستمر حتى 29 نوفمبر الجاري، وذلك تحت إشراف وزارة الرياضة، وتنظيم الاتحاد السعودي للسيارات والدراجات النارية، وتسويق من شركة رياضة المحركات السعودية.
وشهدت منافسات اليوم الثالث مستوىً كبيرًا من التحدي بين السائقين؛ إذ تمكّن الفرنسي أدريان فورماو، سائق فريق هيونداي، من الفوز بالمرحلة التاسعة «الغولاء 1»، فيما حقق الأستوني أوت تاناك الفوز في المرحلتين العاشرة والحادية عشرة «أم الجرم 1»، و«وادي المطوي 1»، مواصلاً تقديم أداء مميز خلال فترات اليوم.
وفي الفترة المسائية، حافظ تاناك على وتيرة أدائه القوي بفوزه في المرحلة الثانية عشرة «الغولاء 2»، وتمكّن مارتن سيسك، سائق فريق فورد، من الفوز بالمرحلة الثالثة عشرة «أم الجرم 2»، واختتم الفنلندي كالي روفانبيرا، سائق فريق تويوتا، مراحل اليوم بالفوز في المرحلة الرابعة عشرة «وادي المطوي 2».
وانعكست هذه النتائج على الترتيب العام لـ«رالي السعودية 2025»، إذ أنهى اللاتفي مارتن سيسك، سائق فريق فورد، منافسات اليوم في صدارة الترتيب بزمن بلغ ساعتين و43 دقيقة و20 ثانية، وجزءًا من الثانية، وحل البلجيكي تيري نوفيل، سائق فريق هيونداي، في المركز الثاني بزمن ساعتين و43 دقيقة و23 ثانية و5 أجزاء من الثانية، فيما جاء الياباني تاكاموتو كاتسوتا، سائق فريق تويوتا، ثالثًا مسجلًا ساعتين و44 دقيقة وثانية واحدة و6 أجزاء من الثانية، وكان الفرنسي أدريان فورماو قد حقق صدارة الترتيب العام، ولكنه تراجع إلى المركز الرابع بسبب عقوبة زمنية مدتها دقيقة واحدة.
ومع انتهاء اليوم الثالث، ارتفع إيقاع التنافس على اللقب بين ثلاثي فريق تويوتا جازو للسباقات؛ البريطاني إلفين إيفانز، والفرنسي سيباستيان أوجييه، والفنلندي كالي روفانبيرا، حيث أنهى روفانبيرا منافسات اليوم الثالث في المركز الخامس، بزمن إجمالي يقدر بساعتين و44 دقيقة و32 ثانية و7 أجزاء من الثانية، متقدمًا على أوجييه بجزءين من الثانية فقط، فيما وصل إيفانز ثالثاً بفارق وصل إلى دقيقتين و40 ثانية نتيجة ثقب في أحد الإطارات خلال المرحلة الحادية عشرة.
وفي فئة WRC2، تصدر السائق البريطاني غاس غرينسميث من فريق سكودا المنافسات، بعد أن أنهى مراحل اليوم بزمن إجمالي بلغ ساعتين و52 دقيقة، و12 ثانية، و6 أجزاء من الثانية، فيما جاء زميله في الفريق البلغاري نيكولاي جريزين في المركز الثاني، والبولندي كاييتان كاييتانوڤيتش سائق فريق تويوتا في المركز الثالث، بينما أنهى السائق السعودي حمزة باخشب منافسات اليوم في المركز التاسع.
أما في فئة WRC3، فقد واصل الإيطالي ماتيو فونتانا تصدر منافسات هذه الفئة، بزمن إجمالي بلغ 3 ساعات و6 دقائق، وثانية واحدة، و5 أجزاء من الثانية، وجاء الهندي نافين بوليغيلا في المركز الثاني، وسعيد الموري في المركز الثالث.
وتختتم منافسات «رالي السعودية 2025 بدعم من جميل لرياضة المحركات» غداً السبت بانطلاق المرحلة الخامسة عشرة «ذهبان 1» عند الساعة 8:35 دقيقة صباحاً، تليها المرحلة السادسة عشرة «عسفان»، ثم يختتم الرالي بانطلاق المرحلة السابعة عشرة والأخيرة، مرحلة «ذهبان 2» التي تعرف بمرحلة القوة (Wolf Power).
The final round of the World Rally Championship "Saudi Rally 2025 supported by Jameel for Motorsports" was completed today, taking place for the first time in the Kingdom and continuing until November 29. This event is supervised by the Ministry of Sports and organized by the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, with marketing by the Saudi Motorsports Company.
Today's third day of competition witnessed a high level of challenge among the drivers; French driver Adrien Fourmaux from the Hyundai team managed to win the ninth stage "Al-Ghoul 1," while Estonian Ott Tänak won the tenth and eleventh stages "Um Al-Jurm 1" and "Wadi Al-Matwi 1," continuing to deliver an outstanding performance throughout the day.
In the evening session, Tänak maintained his strong performance by winning the twelfth stage "Al-Ghoul 2," while Martin Sesks, a driver for the Ford team, won the thirteenth stage "Um Al-Jurm 2." Finnish driver Kalle Rovanperä from the Toyota team concluded the day's stages by winning the fourteenth stage "Wadi Al-Matwi 2."
These results reflected on the overall standings of "Saudi Rally 2025," with Latvian Martin Sesks finishing the day in first place with a time of 2 hours, 43 minutes, and 20 seconds, and a fraction of a second. Belgian Thierry Neuville from the Hyundai team came in second with a time of 2 hours, 43 minutes, 23 seconds, and 5 fractions of a second, while Japanese Takamoto Katsuta from the Toyota team placed third with a time of 2 hours, 44 minutes, 1 second, and 6 fractions of a second. French driver Adrien Fourmaux had initially led the overall standings but dropped to fourth place due to a one-minute time penalty.
With the conclusion of the third day, the competition for the title intensified among the trio from the Toyota Gazoo Racing team: British driver Elfyn Evans, French driver Sébastien Ogier, and Finnish driver Kalle Rovanperä. Rovanperä finished the third day in fifth place with a total time of 2 hours, 44 minutes, 32 seconds, and 7 fractions of a second, just two fractions ahead of Ogier, while Evans reached third place with a gap of 2 minutes and 40 seconds due to a puncture in one of the tires during the eleventh stage.
In the WRC2 category, British driver Gus Greensmith from the Skoda team led the competition, finishing the stages of the day with a total time of 2 hours, 52 minutes, 12 seconds, and 6 fractions of a second. His teammate, Bulgarian Nikolai Grizin, came in second, and Polish driver Kajetan Kajetanowicz from the Toyota team placed third, while Saudi driver Hamza Bakshab finished the day in ninth place.
In the WRC3 category, Italian Matteo Fontana continued to lead the competition in this category, with a total time of 3 hours, 6 minutes, 1 second, and 5 fractions of a second. Indian driver Naveen Poligela came in second, and Saeed Al-Mouri placed third.
The competitions of "Saudi Rally 2025 supported by Jameel for Motorsports" will conclude tomorrow, Saturday, with the start of the fifteenth stage "Dahban 1" at 8:35 AM, followed by the sixteenth stage "Asfan," and the rally will conclude with the start of the seventeenth and final stage, "Dahban 2," known as the power stage (Wolf Power).
