تمكنت الفرق الإسعافية التابعة لهيئة الهلال الأحمر السعودي بمنطقة المدينة المنورة، اليوم، من إعادة النبض لمعتمرة هندية تبلغ من العمر 52 عاماً، بعد تعرضها لتوقف مفاجئ في القلب والتنفس أثناء وجودها بجوار سور البقيع، وذلك بزمن استجابة بلغ 50 ثانية.
وأوضح مدير عام فرع هيئة الهلال الأحمر السعودي بمنطقة المدينة المنورة بالإنابة الدكتور عمر بن حسين العطاس، أن سرعة وصول الفرق الإسعافية والتدخل المبكر أسهما -بعد توفيق الله- في إنقاذ حياة المعتمرة واستعادة نبضها، مؤكداً أن الفرق الإسعافية في المنطقة المركزية تعمل على مدى الساعة وفق خطط تشغيلية تضمن سرعة الاستجابة وتقديم الرعاية الإسعافية لزوار المسجد النبوي الشريف.
وباشرت الفرق الإسعافية الحالة فور وصولها، إذ تبين تعرض المعتمرة لتوقف في القلب والتنفس، وجرى تطبيق الإجراءات الإسعافية اللازمة والبدء بعمليات الإنعاش القلبي الرئوي، حتى تمت استعادة النبض واستقرت حالتها مبدئياً.
وأضاف الدكتور العطاس أن هذه الحالات تؤكد أهمية سرعة الإبلاغ عن الحالات الطارئة والتدخل الإسعافي المبكر، ودورهما الفاعل في رفع فرص النجاة، مشيداً بجاهزية الكوادر الإسعافية واحترافيتها في التعامل مع الحالات الحرجة، خصوصاً خلال أوقات كثافة الزوار والمصلين.
ونُقلت المعتمرة، بعد استعادة النبض، إلى مركز صحي باب جبريل لاستكمال الرعاية الطبية اللازمة.
The emergency teams of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority in the Medina region were able today to restore the pulse of a 52-year-old Indian pilgrim after she suffered a sudden cardiac and respiratory arrest while near the Baqi cemetery, with a response time of 50 seconds.
The Acting Director General of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority in the Medina region, Dr. Omar bin Hussein Al-Attas, explained that the quick arrival of the emergency teams and early intervention contributed - after God's grace - to saving the pilgrim's life and restoring her pulse, emphasizing that the emergency teams in the central area operate around the clock according to operational plans that ensure rapid response and provide emergency care to visitors of the Prophet's Mosque.
The emergency teams began addressing the case immediately upon arrival, as it became clear that the pilgrim had suffered a cardiac and respiratory arrest. Necessary emergency procedures were applied, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) was initiated until the pulse was restored and her condition stabilized initially.
Dr. Al-Attas added that these cases highlight the importance of quickly reporting emergency situations and early emergency intervention, and their effective role in increasing survival chances, praising the readiness and professionalism of the emergency personnel in dealing with critical cases, especially during peak times of visitors and worshippers.
After restoring her pulse, the pilgrim was transported to the Bab Jibril Health Center for further necessary medical care.
