وأشار مؤشر بلومبيرغ لأثرياء العالم أخيرا إلى أن صافي ثروة رونالدو تخطى 1.4 مليار دولار، ليصبح أول لاعب كرة قدم في التاريخ يصل إلى هذا الإنجاز.
وخلال لقطات من الإعلان الترويجي لحلقته مع الإعلامي البريطاني بيرس مورغان، التي ستذاع خلال ساعات، رد «صاروخ ماديرا» على التقارير التي وصفته بأنه أول «لاعب ملياردير» على الإطلاق، قائلاً: «هذا ليس صحيحاً، لقد أصبحت مليارديراً منذ سنوات عديدة».
وساهم توقيع رونالدو مع نادي النصر في يونيو 2025 بعقد يفوق 400 مليون دولار في زيادة ثروته، إذ يشمل راتباً سنوياً يصل إلى 200 مليون دولار، بالإضافة إلى مكافأة توقيع بقيمة 30 مليون دولار.

يذكر أن النجم البرتغالي أصبح خامس أفضل هداف في تاريخ الدوري السعودي، برصيد 82 هدفاً سجلها خلال 84 مباراة.
وانضم رونالدو إلى النصر مطلع عام 2023 في صفقة انتقال حر، بعد فسخ عقده مع مانشستر يونايتد الإنجليزي.

In footage from the promotional announcement for his episode with British journalist Piers Morgan, which will air in a few hours, the "Madeiran Rocket" responded to reports labeling him as the first "billionaire player" ever, saying: "That's not true; I became a billionaire many years ago."
Ronaldo's signing with Al Nassr in June 2025 for a contract exceeding $400 million contributed to his wealth increase, as it includes an annual salary of up to $200 million, in addition to a signing bonus of $30 million.

It is worth mentioning that the Portuguese star has become the fifth highest scorer in the history of the Saudi League, with a tally of 82 goals scored in 84 matches.
