غاب النرويجي إيرلينغ هالاند، مهاجم مانشستر سيتي، عن تسجيل الأهداف أمام أستون فيلا، ليخسر فريقه بهدف نظيف في المباراة التي أقيمت أمس (الأحد) على ملعب «فيلا بارك»، ضمن الجولة التاسعة من الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز (بريميرليغ).
دخل فريق المدرب بيب غوارديولا اللقاء متحفزاً بعد سلسلة من عدم الهزيمة امتدت لتسع مباريات في جميع المسابقات، إلا أن هدفاً واحداً من ماتي كاش في الدقيقة 19 منح الفوز لـ «الفيلانز»، في مباراة فشل فيها هالاند في التسجيل للمرة الثانية هذا الموسم.
وسجل هالاند حتى الآن 24 هدفاً مع ناديه ومنتخب بلاده هذا الموسم، وكان توتنهام الفريق الوحيد الذي نجح في إيقافه قبل مواجهة أستون فيلا، ليتجمد رصيد مانشستر سيتي عند 16 نقطة في المركز الخامس بجدول ترتيب الدوري الإنجليزي.

هالاند، الذي اعتاد على إنقاذ فريقه من الهزائم بفضل أهدافه الحاسمة، سجل هدفاً في الدقيقة 89 بعد تمريرة من زميله المصري عمر مرموش، إلا أن حكم اللقاء ألغاه بسبب وقوع مرموش في موقف تسلل.
