أشاد الألماني ماتياس يايسله مدرب فريق الأهلي والنجم فرانك كيسيه بالروح الجماعية للفريق بعد الأداء القوي الذي قدّمه حامل اللقب توّجه بفوزه الكبير على الغرافة القطري بنتيجة 4/ 0 في اللقاء الذي جمع بينهما على ملعب الإنماء بمدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية بجدة ضمن منافسات دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة 2025-2026.
وأعرب المدرب ماتياس يايسله عن سعادته بالأداء، مؤكداً أن الفريق استعاد بريقه بعد التعادل 2/ 2 مع الدحيل القطري في الجولة الثانية.
وقال يايسله في المؤتمر الصحفي بعد اللقاء: كانت المباراة رائعة، خضنا عدة مباريات في الفترة الأخيرة ولم نصل فيها إلى المستوى المطلوب، لكنني اليوم فخور جداً بردة فعل اللاعبين.
وأردف بالقول: طريقة لعبنا تعتمد على خطة 4-3-3 منذ البداية، وهدفنا كان التسبب بتهديد مستمر في نصف ملعب الخصم، واليوم نفذ اللاعبون ما طلبناه منهم تماماً على أرض الملعب.
فيما قال فرانك كيسيه بعد المباراة: أهنئ الجهاز الفني واللاعبين. لقد أظهرنا شخصيتنا في هذا اللقاء، ومثل هذا الأداء يمنحنا الدافع والثقة لمواصلة اللعب بنفس الإيقاع. كرة القدم ببساطة لعبة جماعية، وأنا أثق بالمدرب وبالمركز الذي يختار أن أشارك فيه من أجل مساعدة الفريق.
وسيطر الأهلي على مجريات اللقاء منذ البداية، حيث سجل ثلاثة أهداف في الشوط الأول عبر إينزو ميلو وكيسيه هدفين قبل أن يختتم البديل صالح أبو الشامات الرباعية في الدقيقة 76.
وسجّل كيسيه في الشوط الأول ليقود فريقه إلى فوز مريح رفع رصيد الأهلي إلى سبع نقاط في صدارة الترتيب.
The German coach Matthias Jaissle of Al-Ahli and star Frank Kessie praised the team's collective spirit after the strong performance exhibited by the defending champions, culminating in a significant victory over Qatari Al-Gharafa with a score of 4-0 in the match held at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah as part of the 2025-2026 AFC Champions League elite competition.
Coach Matthias Jaissle expressed his happiness with the performance, confirming that the team has regained its sparkle after the 2-2 draw with Qatari Al-Duhail in the second round.
Jaissle said in the press conference after the match: "The match was wonderful. We have played several matches recently without reaching the required level, but today I am very proud of the players' reaction."
He added: "Our playing style has relied on a 4-3-3 formation from the beginning, and our goal was to create constant threats in the opponent's half. Today, the players executed exactly what we asked of them on the field."
Meanwhile, Frank Kessie said after the match: "I congratulate the coaching staff and the players. We showed our character in this match, and such a performance gives us the motivation and confidence to continue playing at the same pace. Football is simply a team game, and I trust the coach and the position he chooses for me to help the team."
Al-Ahli dominated the match from the start, scoring three goals in the first half through Enzo Milo and Kessie with two goals before substitute Saleh Abu Shamat completed the quartet in the 76th minute.
Kessie scored in the first half to lead his team to a comfortable victory, raising Al-Ahli's points to seven at the top of the standings.
