بدأ ممثل الوطن (الأهلي) مشوار حملته للدفاع عن لقبه بـ«ريمونتادا» بالأربعة، بعد فوزه على ضيفه ناساف الأوزبكي بنتيجة 4/ 2 في اللقاء الذي جمع بينهما على استاد مدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية بجدة ضمن لقاءات الجولة الأولى من دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة.
وتقدم ناساف في الشوط الأول عبر حسين نورشاييف (د:34 و41)، قبل أن يرد الأهلي برباعية عن طريق إينزو ميلوت (د:65 و68) ورياض محرز (د:90+4) ومحمد سليمان (د:90+15)، وأكمل ناساف المباراة بعشرة لاعبين بعد طرد المدافع عليبيك دافرونوف في الدقيقة (د:90+13).
شهد اللقاء سيطرة الأهلي إلا أن خطأ دفاعياً ساهم في تقدم ناساف بعد أن تمكن اللاعب مرادبيك رحمتوف من خطف الكرة ومررها لزميله حسين نورشاييف الذي واجه المرمى وسدد بنجاح في الزاوية اليمنى (د:34)، وعزز حسين نورشاييف تقدم فريقه بالهدف الثاني بعد هجمة منسقة متقنة وصلت فيها الكرة إلى أبيك بوزوروف الذي مررها بدوره بينية إلى نورشاييف ليسكنها بهدوء في الشباك (د:41).
وفي الشوط الثاني، تمكن الأهلي من تقليص الفارق حينما استغل إينزو ميلوت الخروج الخاطئ للحارس الأوزبكي عبدالواحد نعمتوف وسدد الكرة من خارج منطقة الجزاء استقرت في المرمى الخالي (د:65)، وعادل الأهلي النتيجة بعد أن سدد صالح أبو الشامات كرة من داخل منطقة الجزاء ارتدت من الدفاع لتتهادى أمام المميز ميلوت الذي أعادها إلى داخل الشباك هدفاً شخصياً ثانياً له ولفريقه (د:68).
وفي الوقت بدل الضائع، نجح الجزائري رياض محرز نجم الأهلي في استثمار تمريرة زميله ماتيو دامس وسدد كرة زاحفة من داخل منطقة الجزاء على يمين الحارس لتعلن هدف التقدم الثالث (د:90+4)، وافتقد الفريق الأوزبكي خدمات لاعبه علييك دافرونوف بعد حصوله على البطاقة الحمراء (د:90+13)، في حين أكد محمد سليمان على انتصار الأهلي بتسجيله الهدف الرابع بعد استغل تمريرة صالح أبو الشامات وسدد الكرة من داخل منطقة الجزاء إلى داخل الشباك هدفاً رابعاً للأهلي (د:90+15)، لينتهي اللقاء بفوز الأهلي بأربعة أهداف لهدفين.
