The coaches Jorge Jesus of Al Nassr and Matthias Jaissle of Al Ahli confirmed that the Saudi Super Cup final will be very challenging, especially with a large audience present to witness the development of Saudi football, which is heading in the right direction by attracting major global names in recent years.
Jorge Jesus stated: "Another final is added to my journey in Saudi football, and I have great confidence in winning the first title of the season. We will play against a very respectable team that has shown it is stronger than last season, but we are fully prepared to win the final. Tomorrow's match is a significant event for Saudi football that the world will see, and this reflects the great work that Saudi Arabia is doing. We are looking forward to a great match and hope to win and return to Riyadh with the cup to make Al Nassr fans happy."
He added: "There is no doubt that Sadio Mane is a very important player, both in offensive and defensive roles, and we do not have confirmation yet on who will replace him. Today's training will clarify that, but we trust that whoever plays in his place tomorrow will perform well and help the team win."
Jesus concluded his remarks by saying: "We are certain that the majority of the fans will be present tomorrow to support Al Nassr, and this will help us. All teams need fan support to achieve victories, as fan support aids the team on the field, and this is what we expect from Al Nassr fans tomorrow."
Meanwhile, Al Ahli coach Matthias Jaissle said: "Saudi sports is heading in the right direction under the leadership of the Minister of Sports and the officials. We are happy to participate in the tournament and strive to represent Al Ahli well. It is very important to achieve the title at the beginning of the season to be on the right track, and the details will be very important in the final, so we must be careful about the smallest details."
Jaissle added in his remarks: "Al Nassr is a different team this season, and they have signed distinguished players and have a good coach, Jorge Jesus, whom we have faced several times and know his style of play. However, tomorrow's match does not adhere to any standards, and there will be no surprises, as our team is strong too, and we aspire to win and achieve the title."
At the end of his talk, Jaissle criticized some media outlets, saying: "In fact, there is a lot of empty talk in the media. Do not use any statements from players or coaches unless they are confirmed, and do not spread rumors."
