أعلن نادي الفيحاء عبر موقعه الرسمي عن التعاقد مع لاعب خط الوسط الدولي الغيني ألفا سيميدو لمدة ثلاثة مواسم في صفقة انتقال حر.
وجاء في بيان الفيحاء: «أنهت إدارة نادي الفيحاء إجراءات التوقيع مع لاعب خط الوسط الدولي الغيني ألفا سيميدو (مواليد 1997)، لمدة ثلاثة مواسم، في صفقة انتقال حر، وجرت مراسم توقيع العقد في قاعة الشيخ عثمان الرشيد للمؤتمرات بمقر النادي في المجمعة، بحضور رئيس مجلس الإدارة الدكتور توفيق بن صالح المديهيم».
وأضاف البيان: «سبق لسيميدو تمثيل عدد من الأندية في البرتغال أبرزها بنفيكا ومورييرينسي وفيتوريا غيماريش، كما خاض تجارب احترافية في إسبانيا مع إسبانيول، وفي إنجلترا مع نوتنغهام فوريست وريدينغ، قبل انتقاله إلى الدوري السعودي حيث لعب لنادي الطائي، ثم نادي نيوم في الموسم الماضي، إلى جانب مشاركته مع منتخب غينيا بيساو منذ عام 2021».
واختتم البيان: «من جانبه، عبّر ألفا سيميدو عن سعادته بالانضمام إلى الفيحاء، مؤكداً تطلعه لأن يكون إضافة للفريق والمساهمة مع زملائه في تحقيق تطلعات النادي».
وكان نادي نيوم قد ودع اللاعب اليوم (الأربعاء) مكتفياً بتغريدة واحدة في حسابه الرسمي في منصة «X» قال فيها: «وقعت إدارة نادي نيوم الرياضي مخالصة نهائية مع اللاعب ألفا سيميدو، كل التوفيق في مشوارك القادم».

The Al-Faihah Club announced on its official website the signing of international Guinean midfielder Alpha Semedo for three seasons in a free transfer.
In a statement from Al-Faihah, it was mentioned: "The management of Al-Faihah Club has completed the signing procedures with international Guinean midfielder Alpha Semedo (born in 1997) for three seasons in a free transfer. The contract signing ceremony took place in the Sheikh Othman Al-Rasheed Conference Hall at the club's headquarters in Al-Majma'ah, in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Tawfiq bin Saleh Al-Mudayhim."
The statement added: "Semedo has previously represented several clubs in Portugal, most notably Benfica, Moreirense, and Vitória Guimarães. He has also had professional experiences in Spain with Espanyol, and in England with Nottingham Forest and Reading, before moving to the Saudi league where he played for Al-Tai Club, then for Neom Club last season, in addition to his participation with the Guinea-Bissau national team since 2021."
The statement concluded: "For his part, Alpha Semedo expressed his happiness at joining Al-Faihah, confirming his eagerness to be an addition to the team and to contribute with his teammates in achieving the club's aspirations."
Neom Club bid farewell to the player today (Wednesday), contenting itself with a single tweet on its official account on the "X" platform, stating: "The management of Neom Sports Club has finalized a settlement with player Alpha Semedo. We wish you all the best in your upcoming journey."
