زار سفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى جمهورية الصين الشعبية عبدالرحمن الحربي، يرافقه القنصل العام في هونغ كونغ مازن الحملي مقر بعثة الفريق الأول لكرة القدم بنادي الاتحاد في هونغ كونغ، وكان في استقبالهما رئيس مجلس إدارة نادي الاتحاد فهد سندي، وبحضور الرئيس التنفيذي للنادي دومينجوس سواريز أوليفيرا.
وأكد السفير عبدالرحمن الحربي حرص القيادة الرشيدة -حفظها الله- على تقديم كافة التسهيلات وتوفير الإمكانيات اللازمة أمام أندية الوطن، مؤكداً أن الفرق الرياضية السعودية تمثل صورة مشرفة لرياضة الوطن خارجيا ومنها تواجدها حالياً في جمهورية الصين الشعبية وبشكل خاص في منطقة هونغ كونغ الإدارية الخاصة، وتعكس التطور والتميز الذي تشهده المملكة على جميع الأصعدة، في ضوء ما تحظى به من دعم لا محدود من قبل القيادة الرشيدة - حفظها الله- وانسجاماً مع مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030.
كما أعرب رئيس النادي عن بالغ شكره وتقديره للسفير والقنصل على الاهتمام والمتابعة التي حظيت بها البعثة منذ وصولها إلى هونغ كونغ، مؤكداً أن هذا الدعم ليس بمستغرب على ممثلي سفارات خادم الحرمين الشريفين حول العالم، والذي كان محل إعجاب وتقدير جميع أعضاء الفريق.

The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the People's Republic of China, Abdulrahman Al-Harbi, accompanied by the Consul General in Hong Kong, Mazen Al-Hamli, visited the headquarters of the first football team of Al-Ittihad Club in Hong Kong. They were welcomed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Ittihad Club, Fahd Sindi, in the presence of the club's CEO, Domingos Suarez Oliveira.
The ambassador, Abdulrahman Al-Harbi, affirmed the wise leadership's - may God protect it - commitment to providing all necessary facilities and resources for the clubs of the nation. He emphasized that Saudi sports teams represent a proud image of the nation's sports abroad, including their current presence in the People's Republic of China, particularly in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, reflecting the development and excellence that the Kingdom is witnessing on all fronts, in light of the unlimited support from the wise leadership - may God protect it - and in alignment with the objectives of Vision 2030.
The club president also expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to the ambassador and the consul for the attention and follow-up that the delegation has received since its arrival in Hong Kong, affirming that this support is not surprising from the representatives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' embassies around the world, which has been a source of admiration and appreciation from all team members.
