يخوض نادي الهلال مواجهة مصيرية أمام مانشستر سيتي الإنجليزي، فجر غد (الثلاثاء)، ضمن منافسات دور الـ16 من بطولة كأس العالم للأندية 2025، المُقامة في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية.
وكان الهلال حجز مقعده في ثمن النهائي بعد تعادله مع ريال مدريد الإسباني 1-1، ومع ريد بول سالزبورغ النمساوي 0-0، وانتصاره على باتشوكا المكسيكي 2-0، ليحتل المركز الثاني في المجموعة الثامنة برصيد 5 نقاط.
وتعرض «الزعيم» لضربة موجعة بإصابة قائده سالم الدوسري في العضلة الخلفية، ما سيبعده عن الملاعب لمدة تراوح بين 4 إلى 6 أسابيع، وبالتالي غيابه عن بقية مباريات البطولة.
واستعرض الموقع الرسمي للاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (فيفا) الخيارات المتاحة أمام المدرب الإيطالي سيموني إنزاغي لتعويض غياب سالم الدوسري أمام مانشستر سيتي، وجاءت على النحو التالي:
كنو الخيار الأقرب
يُعد محمد كنو الخيار الأول لتعويض غياب سالم، إذ شارك بديلًا له في المباراة الماضية أمام باتشوكا، وكأن إنزاغي كان يستعد لأي طارئ بغيابه، ليكون خط الوسط مكونًا من كنو، وعلى يمينه سافيتش وعلى يساره ناصر الدوسري، بالإضافة إلى روبن نيفيز بالطبع سواء كلاعب خط وسط رقم 6، أو قلب دفاع ثالث بين التمبكتي وكوليبالي، حسبما يراه المدرب مناسبًا.
لاجامي خيار ثانٍ
طرح موقع «فيفا» اسم علي لاجامي كخيار ثانٍ، لكن ليس في مركز سالم الدوسري تحديدًا، بل كقلب دفاع ثالث إلى جانب كوليبالي والتمبكتي ضمن خطة 5-3-2. ويقود الهجوم في هذا التشكيل الثنائي ليوناردو ومالكوم، مع ثلاثي وسط مكوَّن من سافيتش، نيفيز، وناصر الدوسري.
عودة محتملة لكايو سيزار
الخيار الثالث يتمثل في إشراك كايو سيزار أساسيًا في مركز الجناح الهجومي الأيمن، مع التحول إلى خطة 4-2-3-1 أو 4-3-3، ما يعني انتقال مالكوم إلى الجناح الأيسر، وهو المركز الذي سبق أن شغله خلال موسم 2023-2024 في ست مباريات، ويضم خط الوسط حينها كلًا من ناصر الدوسري، نيفيز، وسافيتش.
ويُعد هذا الخيار مستبعدًا إلى حد كبير، نظرًا لعدم مشاركة كايو في أي من المباريات الثلاث السابقة بسبب الإصابة وعدم الجاهزية.
الدوسري بديلاً للدوسري
الخيار الرابع يتمثل في إشراك محمد كنو في وسط الملعب، مع الدفع بناصر الدوسري في مركز الجناح الأيسر، وبهذا التشكيل، يلعب كنو إلى جانب نيفيز وسافيتش في خط الوسط، ضمن خطة 4-3-3 أو 4-2-3-1، بينما يتكوَّن خط الهجوم من مالكوم يمينًا، وناصر الدوسري يسارًا، وليوناردو في مركز رأس الحربة، لكن هذا الخيار يبدو الأقل ترجيحًا، نظرًا لأهمية ناصر في وسط الملعب، وصعوبة إبعاده عن مركزه الأساسي، خصوصًا أنه لم يُختبر كثيرًا في دور الجناح الأيسر.

The "leader" suffered a painful blow with the injury of its captain, Salem Al-Dosari, in the hamstring, which will keep him off the field for a period ranging from 4 to 6 weeks, thus missing the remaining matches of the tournament.
The official website of FIFA reviewed the options available to Italian coach Simone Inzaghi to compensate for Salem Al-Dosari's absence against Manchester City, which are as follows:
Khanu is the closest option
Mohammed Khanu is the first choice to replace Salem, as he came on as a substitute for him in the last match against Pachuca, and it seems Inzaghi was preparing for any eventuality in his absence, with the midfield consisting of Khanu, with Savic on his right and Nasser Al-Dosari on his left, in addition to Ruben Neves, of course, either as a number 6 midfielder or as a third center-back between Al-Tambakti and Koulibaly, depending on what the coach sees fit.
Al-Lajami as a second option
The FIFA website mentioned Ali Al-Lajami as a second option, but not specifically in Salem Al-Dosari's position, rather as a third center-back alongside Koulibaly and Al-Tambakti in a 5-3-2 formation. The attack in this setup would be led by the duo Leonardo and Malcom, with a midfield trio consisting of Savic, Neves, and Nasser Al-Dosari.
Possible return for Caio Cesar
The third option involves starting Caio Cesar in the right attacking winger position, with a shift to a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 formation, which means moving Malcom to the left wing, a position he previously occupied during the 2023-2024 season in six matches, with the midfield then including Nasser Al-Dosari, Neves, and Savic.
This option seems largely unlikely, given that Caio has not participated in any of the previous three matches due to injury and unpreparedness.
Al-Dosari replacing Al-Dosari
The fourth option involves using Mohammed Khanu in the midfield, while pushing Nasser Al-Dosari to the left winger position. In this formation, Khanu would play alongside Neves and Savic in the midfield, within a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 setup, while the attack would consist of Malcom on the right, Nasser Al-Dosari on the left, and Leonardo as the center forward. However, this option seems the least likely, given Nasser's importance in the midfield and the difficulty of moving him from his primary position, especially since he has not been tested much in the left winger role.
