اقتحم النجم الهلالي كايو سيزار قائمة المدرب إنزاغي لمواجهة فريق مانشستر سيتي التي ستقام الثلاثاء القادم الساعة 4:00 فجراً، ضمن مباريات دور ثمن النهائي في بطولة كأس العالم للأندية 2025، المقامة في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، وكان اللاعب تواجد في دكة البدلاء في مباراة الزعيم الماضية أمام باتشوكا المكسيكي في ختام دور المجموعات في البطولة العالمية الحالية.
وتأتي عودة البرازيلي كايو مع الفريق الهلالي بعد تعافية من الإصابة التي تعرض لها في العضلة الخلفية في 18 مايو الماضي، وأبعدته عن المشاركة مع الزعيم في المباريات المتبقية من دوري روشن للمحترفين في الموسم الماضي، إلى جانب عدم مشاركته في مباريات دور المجموعات في مونديال أندية العالم 2025.
ومن المتوقع أن تكون مشاركة النجم كايو بديلاً للقائد سالم الدوسري الذي سيغيب عن مواجهة مانشستر سيتي بعد أن أوضحت الفحوصات الطبية تعرضه للإصابة في العضلة الخلفية وسيخضع لبرنامج علاجي وتأهيلي يمتد من أربعة أسابيع إلى ستة أسابيع.
هذا وواصل الفريق الهلالي تدريباته في مدينة ناشفيل بقيادة المدرب إنزاغي استعداداً لمباراة مانشستر سيتي القادمة، وسيجري مناورة كروية سيركز على تطبيق اللاعبين للأسلوب الفني والاستقرار على التشكيلة الأساسية التي سيخوض بها لقاء مانشستر سيتي المرتقب.
وستغادر بعثة الزعيم غدا الأحد عقب المران إلى مدينة أورلاندو في ولاية فلوريدا الأمريكية، والتي ستحتضن الحصة التدريبية الأخيرة تأهباً للقاء مانشستر سيتي في دور (16) بكأس العالم للأندية.
