في مشهد أثار الدهشة، ألقت الشرطة البرازيلية القبض على حكم كرة قدم أثناء إدارته لمباراة للهواة في البرازيل، وذلك بتهمة تورطه في شبكة إجرامية لتهريب المخدرات.
ووثقت مقاطع فيديو انتشرت على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي لحظة تدخل الشرطة، حيث اقتحم عناصر يرتدون سترات واقية أرضية الملعب، وأوقفوا الحكم إديرسون كارلوس دا سيلفا (38 عاماً)، بتهمة تورطه في شبكة لتهريب المخدرات.
وأفاد رئيس الشرطة المدنية في غواروجا، غلاوكوس سيلفا، أن السلطات تمكنت من تعقب دا سيلفا بسبب نشاطه المكثف على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، مما جعله تحت المراقبة منذ فترة.
ويأتي الاعتقال في إطار تحقيق انطلق في نوفمبر 2024، بعد توقيف شاحنة في مدينة ساو باولو كانت تحمل 450 كيلوغراماً من الكوكايين.
وتم حينها إلقاء القبض على السائق ومرافقه، لتكشف التحقيقات لاحقاً أن دا سيلفا كان مسؤولاً عن لوجستيات شبكة التهريب.
وأوضحت الشرطة، أن المتهم كان يشرف على عمليات التخزين والتوزيع، مستخدماً منازل مستأجرة من قبل الشبكة.
وأشارت إلى أنهم لم يكونوا على علم بأن دا سيلفا يعمل كحكم كرة قدم.
وأضافت أنه: «وفقاً لسجله وما تمكنا من جمعه، كان يعمل كمعلم أو مشرف في إحدى الشركات. لم تكن لدينا معلومات عن مشاركته في تحكيم مباريات كرة القدم. ولأننا لم نتمكن من تحديد مكانه، كان مطلوباً، حتى تمكنت شرطة غواروجا من اعتقاله».

Videos that circulated on social media documented the moment the police intervened, as officers wearing protective vests stormed the field and stopped referee Edirson Carlos da Silva (38 years old), on charges of being involved in a drug trafficking network.
The head of the civil police in Guarujá, Glauco Silva, reported that authorities were able to track Da Silva due to his intense activity on social media, which put him under surveillance for some time.
The arrest comes as part of an investigation that began in November 2024, after a truck was stopped in São Paulo carrying 450 kilograms of cocaine.
At that time, the driver and his companion were arrested, and subsequent investigations revealed that Da Silva was responsible for the logistics of the trafficking network.
The police clarified that the accused was overseeing storage and distribution operations, using houses rented by the network.
They noted that they were unaware that Da Silva worked as a soccer referee.
They added, "According to his record and what we were able to gather, he worked as a teacher or supervisor at a company. We had no information about his involvement in officiating soccer matches. And because we could not determine his location, he was wanted, until the Guarujá police managed to arrest him."
