Sources have revealed to "Okaz" that Al-Nassr Club has begun its efforts to sign French left-back Theo Hernandez, a player from AC Milan, since last April. They have communicated with the player and his agent and received preliminary approval from both parties; however, the negotiations have not reached advanced stages.

Meanwhile, Al-Hilal Club has strongly entered the race to sign the player in recent days, initiating direct contacts through intermediaries with Theo's representatives in an attempt to expedite the deal, amid optimism within the Al-Hilal camp about the possibility of finalizing the contract.

Despite the significant efforts being made by both clubs, sources from "Okaz" confirmed that convincing Theo to play in the Roshen League may be complicated, given the player's clear desire to remain in Europe and pursue a new experience in one of the major leagues.

It is worth noting that Theo Hernandez is considered one of the top full-backs in the world and has several European offers, which keeps his final decision open at this moment, despite the serious interest from the two major clubs in the Saudi capital.
