يواصل نادي أرسنال الإنجليزي تحركاته المكثفة للتعاقد مع المهاجم الأرجنتيني خوليان ألفاريز، نجم أتلتيكو مدريد، في إطار سعيه لتدعيم خطه الهجومي قبل انطلاق الموسم الجديد.
ووفقاً لتقارير صحفية، كثف «الغانرز» مفاوضاته خلال الأيام الأخيرة، مستفيداً من تراجع اهتمام ريال مدريد وبرشلونة بإتمام الصفقة، وهو ما منح النادي اللندني أفضلية في سباق التعاقد مع اللاعب.
وأشارت التقارير إلى أن ألفاريز لا يمانع الانتقال إلى أرسنال، رغم أن أولويته كانت الاستمرار في الدوري الإسباني عبر الانضمام إلى أحد العملاقين ريال مدريد أو برشلونة.
في المقابل، يتمسك أتلتيكو مدريد بموقفه الرافض لبيع مهاجمه لأي من منافسيه المحليين، وهو ما أكده النادي في أكثر من مناسبة، مع إظهار استيائه من طريقة تعامل الناديين مع ملف اللاعب.
ويعد ألفاريز الخيار الأول للمدرب ميكيل أرتيتا لتدعيم الهجوم هذا الصيف، لكن صعوبة المفاوضات دفعت إدارة أرسنال إلى تجهيز بدائل، أبرزها الفرنسي برادلي باركولا، إلا أن باريس سان جيرمان لا يزال متمسكاً باستمرار لاعبه.

According to media reports, the "Gunners" have intensified their negotiations in recent days, taking advantage of the decreased interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona in completing the deal, which has given the London club an advantage in the race to sign the player.
The reports indicated that Álvarez does not mind transferring to Arsenal, although his priority was to continue in La Liga by joining one of the giants, Real Madrid or Barcelona.
On the other hand, Atlético Madrid remains firm in its stance against selling its striker to any of its local rivals, a position the club has confirmed on multiple occasions, expressing its dissatisfaction with the way the two clubs have handled the player's situation.
Álvarez is the top choice for coach Mikel Arteta to bolster the attack this summer, but the difficulty of the negotiations has prompted Arsenal's management to prepare alternatives, the most notable being Frenchman Bradley Barcola, although Paris Saint-Germain is still keen on keeping their player.
