أعلن رئيس الاتحاد الأردني لكرة القدم الأمير علي بن الحسين اليوم (الخميس) غياب ثنائي منتخب النشامى يزن النعيمات وأدهم القريشي عن المشاركة في بطولة كأس العالم 2026، المقرر إقامتها في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وكندا والمكسيك، بسبب الإصابة.
ضربة مزدوجة
وكتب الأمير علي عبر حسابه على منصة «إكس»: «تابعنا بكل تقدير الجهود الكبيرة التي بذلها أبناؤنا يزن النعيمات وأدهم القريشي خلال رحلة العلاج والتأهيل على امتداد الأشهر الماضية، ورغبتهما الصادقة في اللحاق بالنشامى في كأس العالم، إلا أن الإصابة حرمتهما هذه المرة».
وأضاف: «كل الأمنيات لهما بالشفاء التام والعودة أقوى لتمثيل الأردن في كأس آسيا، النشامى دائماً على قدر الحلم والمسؤولية، وكلنا ثقة في قدرة اللاعبين على تشريف الأردن في كأس العالم».
ظهور تاريخي
ويشارك المنتخب الأردني في كأس العالم للمرة الأولى في تاريخه، ويتواجد النشامى في المجموعة العاشرة إلى جانب الأرجنتين والجزائر والنمسا.
The President of the Jordanian Football Association, Prince Ali bin Al-Hussein, announced today (Thursday) the absence of the national team duo Yazan Al-Naimat and Adham Al-Quraishi from participating in the 2026 World Cup, scheduled to be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, due to injury.
Double Blow
Prince Ali wrote on his account on the "X" platform: "We have followed with great appreciation the tremendous efforts made by our sons Yazan Al-Naimat and Adham Al-Quraishi during their treatment and rehabilitation journey over the past months, and their sincere desire to join the national team in the World Cup, but injury has deprived them this time."
He added: "We wish them both a full recovery and a stronger return to represent Jordan in the Asian Cup; the national team is always up to the dream and responsibility, and we are all confident in the players' ability to honor Jordan in the World Cup."
Historic Appearance
The Jordanian national team is participating in the World Cup for the first time in its history, and the national team is in Group 10 alongside Argentina, Algeria, and Austria.
