أكد مارك سيريا، المرشح في الانتخابات الرئاسية القادمة لنادي برشلونة، أهمية عودة النجم الأرجنتيني ليونيل ميسي إلى صفوف النادي الكتالوني.
عودة ميسي قد تدرّ 200 مليون يورو
وقال سيريا في تصريحات نقلتها صحيفة «آس» الإسبانية: «عودة ميسي لا تتعلق بالتكريم، فهو لا يزال الرياضي الأكثر تقديراً في العالم».
وأضاف: «ميسي يريد العودة إلى بيته، وعلينا تنفيذ خطة إستراتيجية تعود بفائدة واضحة على برشلونة»، موضحاً أن عودة النجم الأرجنتيني قد تدرّ على النادي ما يصل إلى 200 مليون يورو من الإيرادات خلال موسم واحد فقط.
اتفاق حيوي لمستقبل برشلونة
وشدد سيريا على أن ميسي يمثل عنصراً أساسياً للحفاظ على ملكية النادي لأعضائه، قائلاً: «أنا أتحدث عن ميسي باعتباره لاعباً لا غنى عنه، لأن الزيادة في الإيرادات التي سيوفرها هذا الاتفاق ضرورية. التوصل إلى اتفاق معه أمر حيوي لبرشلونة».
زيارة كامب نو وتصريحات لابورتا
وكان ميسي قد زار ملعب «كامب نو» في نوفمبر الماضي، وعبّر عن رغبته في العودة إلى برشلونة، إلا أن رئيس النادي جوان لابورتا أكد في تصريحات سابقة أن عودة اللاعب الأسطوري تبدو غير واقعية في الوقت الحالي، خصوصاً بعد تجديد عقده مع ناديه الحالي إنتر ميامي.

Seria stated in remarks reported by the Spanish newspaper "AS": "Messi's return is not about honor; he is still the most respected athlete in the world."
He added: "Messi wants to return to his home, and we need to implement a strategic plan that brings clear benefits to Barcelona," explaining that the return of the Argentine star could generate up to 200 million euros in revenue for the club in just one season.
A vital agreement for Barcelona's future
Seria stressed that Messi is a key element in maintaining the club's ownership for its members, saying: "I speak of Messi as an indispensable player because the increase in revenue that this agreement will provide is essential. Reaching an agreement with him is vital for Barcelona."
Visit to Camp Nou and Laporta's statements
Messi visited the "Camp Nou" stadium last November and expressed his desire to return to Barcelona; however, club president Joan Laporta previously stated that the legendary player's return seems unrealistic at the moment, especially after renewing his contract with his current club, Inter Miami.
