أعلن الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم «فيفا«، اليوم (الجمعة)، عن الكرة الرسمية لبطولة كأس العالم 2026، التي ستقام في الولايات المتحدة وكندا والمكسيك.
وأوضح «فيفا» في بيان عبر موقعه الإلكتروني، أن الكرة الرسمية للمونديال تحمل اسم «تريوندا» وهي كلمة إسبانية تعني «الأمواج الثلاثة»، وهي تمثل - إلى جانب ميزات التصميم الفريدة الأخرى - فرصة للاحتفاء باتحاد 3 دول - كندا والمكسيك والولايات المتحدة - لاستضافة بطولة كأس العالم 2026 للمرة الأولى في تاريخ الحدث الكروي الأبرز على الصعيد الدولي.
وأضاف: «يتميز تصميم الكرة الرسمية لمباريات البطولة بتداخُل الأحمر والأخضر والأزرق في احتفاء بهيج بالدول الثلاث المضيفة، بينما تتكوّن من أربع طبقات وتحمل من الجهة الخارجية تشكيلات هندسية انسيابية تعكس الأمواج المشار إليها في كلمة «تريوندا»، بحيث تتداخل لتُشكل مثلثاً وسط الكرة، وذلك في إشارة إلى الاتحاد التاريخي للدول الثلاث المضيفة».
وتزخر الكرة الرسمية، بالعديد من التقنيات المبتكرة، تم تصميم الكرة بطبقاتها الأربع والدرزات العميقة من أجل خلق سطح يوفر لها ثباتاً مثالياً أثناء تحركها في الهواء، ما يضمن لها مقاومة هوائية كافية وموزّعة بالتساوي أثناء انتقالها في الهواء، أما الرموز المنقوشة التي لا تظهر إلا عن قرب، فإنها تُعزِّز تماسك الكرة والتسديد والمراوغة في الظروف المناخية التي تتسم بالرطوبة أو عند اللعب فوق أرضية مبللة، بحسب البيان.

هذا وتعود تقنية الكرة المتصلة بالتكنولوجيا مرة أخرى في الكرة الرسمية لمباريات بطولة كأس العالم، حيث تشمل «تريوندا» شريحة لاستشعار الحركة من أحدث طراز، وذلك بسرعة 500 هرتز، ما يمكن من رصد كل عنصر من عناصر حركة الكرة، إذ تُرسل هذه التقنية بيانات دقيقة إلى نظام حَكَم الفيديو المساعد بشكل آني يعزز عملية اتخاذ القرارات من قِبل حُكام المباريات، بما في ذلك الحوادث المُتعلقة بحالات التسلل.
من جانبه، قال رئيس الفيفا جياني إنفانتينو: «ها هي ذي الكرة الرسمية لمباريات كأس العالم 2026، كم هي جميلة! أنا سعيد وفخور بتقديم «تريوندا»، فقد ابتكرت أديداس كرة أيقونية أخرى لبطولة كأس العالم، بتصميمها الذي يُجسِّد وحدة وشغف الدول التي ستستضيف البطولة العام القادم».
وختم إنفانتينو: «أتطلع بشوق لرؤية هذه الكرة الجميلة وهي تهز الشباك، فقد انطلق العد التنازلي لأكبر نسخة في تاريخ بطولة كأس العالم، وقد بدأت معه الكرة بالدوران!».
The International Football Federation "FIFA" announced today (Friday) the official ball for the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
FIFA explained in a statement on its website that the official ball for the tournament is named "Trionda," which is a Spanish word meaning "the three waves." This name represents, along with other unique design features, the celebration of the union of three countries - Canada, Mexico, and the United States - hosting the World Cup for the first time in the history of this major international football event.
It added: "The design of the official ball for the tournament features a blend of red, green, and blue in a joyful celebration of the three host countries, while it consists of four layers and has smooth geometric patterns on the outer surface that reflect the waves referred to in the word 'Trionda,' intertwining to form a triangle in the center of the ball, symbolizing the historic union of the three host countries."
The official ball is rich with many innovative technologies, designed with its four layers and deep seams to create a surface that provides ideal stability while moving through the air, ensuring sufficient aerodynamic resistance evenly distributed during its flight. The engraved symbols that are only visible up close enhance the ball's grip, shooting, and dribbling in humid weather conditions or when played on wet ground, according to the statement.

The technology of the connected ball returns once again in the official ball for the World Cup matches, as "Trionda" includes a state-of-the-art motion sensing chip operating at 500 Hz, allowing for the monitoring of every aspect of the ball's movement. This technology sends precise data to the Video Assistant Referee system in real-time, enhancing decision-making processes by match officials, including incidents related to offside situations.
For his part, FIFA President Gianni Infantino said: "Here is the official ball for the 2026 World Cup matches, how beautiful it is! I am happy and proud to present 'Trionda.' Adidas has created another iconic ball for the World Cup, with a design that embodies the unity and passion of the countries that will host the tournament next year."
Infantino concluded: "I eagerly look forward to seeing this beautiful ball shake the net, as the countdown has begun for the largest edition in the history of the World Cup, and with it, the ball has started to roll!"
