واصل ممثل العرب منتخب المغرب تألقه في كأس العالم تحت 20 سنة FIFA تشيلي 2025™ بعدما تغلّب على البرازيل بهدفين لهدف في اللقاء الذي جمع بينهما على استاد سانتياغو ضمن لقاءات الجولة الثانية للمجموعة الثالثة، وبذلك يحجز منتخب المغرب مقعده في الدور التالي.
أحرز هدفي المغرب كل من: عثمان معما (د: 60)، ياسر الزبيري (د: 76)، فيما جاء هدف البرازيل عن طريق إياغو تيودورو من ركلة جزاء (د: 90+2).
شهد اللقاء سيطرة متبادلة بين المنتخبين ومن هجمة مرتدة للمنتخب البرازيلي تلاعب لويغي بالمدافع إسماعيل بوعوف ليتحصل على ركلة جزاء، لكن الحكم وبعد المراجعة ألغى قراره ووجّه بطاقة صفراء للاعب البرازيلي بداعي التمثيل، ليعود المنتخب المغربي للسيطرة على مجريات اللقاء ويتمكن من افتتاح مسلسل الأهداف عبر كرة عرضية عميقة من جَسيم ياسين أسكنها عثمان معما الشباك بضربة مقصية رائعة (د: 60)، وعزّز شباب الأطلس النتيجة بعدما افتك ياسين الكرة في وسط الميدان ومرّرها لياسر الزبيري الذي سددها قوية بوجه القدم الخارجي من الجهة اليسرى كهدف ثانٍ للمغرب (د: 76)، وحاول المنتخب البرازيلي العودة للقاء ولكنه اصطدم بالدفاعات المغربية إلى أن نجح قائد البرازيل ياغو تيودورو في تقليص الفارق من ركلة جزاء في الوقت بدل الضائع (د: 90+2)، لينتهي اللقاء بفوز المغرب بهدفين لهدف.
وبهذه النتيجة يحقق المغرب فوزه الثاني ويصل للنقطة السادسة متصدراً منتخبات المجموعة الثالثة ليتأهل رسمياً للدور ثمن النهائي، فيما فشل منتخب البرازيل وللمرة الأولى في تاريخه الفوز بأي من أول مباراتين لها في كأس العالم تحت 20 سنة، إذ تجمد رصيده عند نقطة واحدة فقط.

The representative of the Arab world, the Moroccan national team, continued its brilliance in the FIFA U-20 World Cup Chile 2025™ after defeating Brazil with a score of two to one in the match held at the Santiago Stadium during the second round of Group C, thus securing Morocco's place in the next round.
Morocco's goals were scored by: Othmane Maima (60'), Yasser Al-Zubairi (76'), while Brazil's goal came from Iago Teodoro via a penalty kick (90+2').
The match witnessed mutual control between the two teams, and from a counter-attack by the Brazilian team, Luigi played with defender Ismail Bouaouf to earn a penalty kick, but the referee, after reviewing the play, canceled his decision and issued a yellow card to the Brazilian player for simulation. The Moroccan team then regained control of the match and managed to open the scoring through a deep cross from Jassim Yassine, which Othmane Maima converted into the net with a stunning bicycle kick (60'). The Atlas Youth strengthened their lead after Yassine intercepted the ball in midfield and passed it to Yasser Al-Zubairi, who struck it powerfully with the outside of his left foot for Morocco's second goal (76'). The Brazilian team tried to return to the match, but they were met with Moroccan defenses until Brazil's captain Iago Teodoro managed to reduce the deficit with a penalty kick in stoppage time (90+2'), ending the match with Morocco winning two to one.
With this result, Morocco achieves its second victory and reaches six points, topping Group C and officially qualifying for the Round of 16, while the Brazilian team failed for the first time in its history to win any of its first two matches in the U-20 World Cup, as its points remained at just one.
