أعلن الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (فيفا)، إيقاف 7 لاعبين من منتخب ماليزيا لمدة عام واحد، بعد ثبوت استخدامهم وثائق مزورة للمشاركة في مباراة ضد فيتنام، ضمن التصفيات المؤهلة إلى كأس آسيا.
وأوضح «فيفا»، اليوم (الجمعة)، عبر موقعه الإلكتروني أن اللاعبين المعنيين هم: غابرييل فيليبي أروتشا، فاكوندو توماس غارسيس، رودريغو خوليان هولغادو، وإيمانول خافيير ماتشوكا، جواو فيتور برانداو فيغيريدو، جون إيرازابال إيراورغي، وهيكتور أليخاندرو هيفيل سيرانو، وقد تقرر إيقافهم لمدة 12 شهراً عن ممارسة أي نشاط متعلق بكرة القدم.
وثائق مزورة
وأشار «فيفا» إلى أن الاتحاد الماليزي لكرة القدم قدّم استفساراً بشأن أهلية هؤلاء اللاعبين، ثم استخدم وثائق مزورة لتمكينهم من المشاركة، ما يشكل انتهاكاً للمادة 22 من قانون الانضباط، الخاصة بالتزوير والتزييف.
وبناءً على ذلك، فُرضت على الاتحاد الماليزي غرامة مالية قدرها 35 ألف فرنك سويسري، إضافة إلى غرامة منفصلة بقيمة 2,000 فرنك على كل لاعب.
وكان اللاعبون السبعة قد شاركوا في المباراة التي فاز فيها المنتخب الماليزي على فيتنام بأربعة أهداف دون رد، في الجولة الثالثة من تصفيات كأس آسيا 2027، التي أقيمت في الـ10 من يونيو الماضي.
The International Football Federation (FIFA) announced the suspension of 7 players from the Malaysian national team for one year, after it was proven that they used forged documents to participate in a match against Vietnam, as part of the qualifiers for the Asian Cup.
FIFA clarified today (Friday) via its official website that the players involved are: Gabriel Felipe Arocha, Facundo Tomas Garcis, Rodrigo Julian Holgado, Emanol Javier Machuca, Joao Vitor Brandao Figueiredo, John Irazabal Iroargi, and Hector Alejandro Hevil Serrano. They have been suspended for 12 months from participating in any football-related activities.
Forged Documents
FIFA indicated that the Malaysian Football Association had submitted an inquiry regarding the eligibility of these players, and then used forged documents to enable them to participate, which constitutes a violation of Article 22 of the Disciplinary Code concerning forgery and falsification.
As a result, the Malaysian Association was fined 35,000 Swiss francs, in addition to a separate fine of 2,000 francs for each player.
The seven players participated in the match where the Malaysian team won against Vietnam with a score of four goals to none, in the third round of the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers, which took place on June 10 of last year.
