The final minutes of the match were very exciting, as Jacob Murphy opened the scoring for Newcastle in the 80th minute with a rocket shot from outside the penalty area.
However, Newcastle's joy was short-lived, as Rodrigo Muniz managed to equalize for Fulham in the 83rd minute with a close-range shot, bringing the match back to square one.

With this result, Newcastle United raised their tally to 12 points, sitting in eleventh place in the Premier League table, while Fulham increased their points to 10, in fifteenth place.
