أعلن الكوري الجنوبي سون هيونغ مين، نجم توتنهام الإنجليزي، رحيله عن السبيرز خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية الحالية.
وقال سون في تصريحات نقلها موقع ناديه: «لقد قررت مغادرة توتنهام هذا الصيف وقد ساعدني النادي في هذه القرار بكل احترام، رغم أنه الأصعب في مسيرتي».
وأضاف: «لدي ذكريات رائعة مع هذا النادي، لكنني أحتاج إلى بيئة جديدة لأدفع نفسي للأمام، أحتاج إلى القليل من التغيير، عشر سنوات هنا فترة طويلة».
وتابع: «جئت إلى شمال لندن شاباً في الثالثة والعشرين من عمري، وأترك هذا النادي رجلاً ناضجاً.. فخور جداً بما حققته، وأود أن أشكر جميع جماهير توتنهام على كل هذا الحب».
وختم: «آمل أن يكون الوداع في توقيت مناسب، وأن يكون هذا هو الوقت المناسب لاتخاذ هذا القرار، آمل أن يتقبل الجميع ذلك ويحترموه».
South Korean star Son Heung-min, of English club Tottenham, announced his departure from the Spurs during the current summer transfer window.
Son said in statements reported by his club's website: "I have decided to leave Tottenham this summer, and the club has helped me with this decision with all due respect, even though it is the hardest in my career."
He added: "I have wonderful memories with this club, but I need a new environment to push myself forward; I need a little change, ten years here is a long time."
He continued: "I came to North London as a young man at the age of twenty-three, and I leave this club as a mature man... very proud of what I have achieved, and I would like to thank all Tottenham fans for all this love."
He concluded: "I hope the farewell is at the right time, and that this is the right moment to make this decision; I hope everyone accepts and respects it."
