رفض نادي نيوكاسل يونايتد الإنجليزي عرضاً تاريخياً من ليفربول لضم مهاجمه السويدي ألكسندر إيزاك خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية الحالية.
ووفقاً لصحيفة «آس» الإسبانية - نقلاً عن تقارير بريطانية - فقد رفض نيوكاسل عرضاً من ليفربول بقيمة 120 مليون جنيه إسترليني (138 مليون يورو) لضم ألكسندر إيزاك.
وأضافت أن نيوكاسل يُقدّر لاعبه بـ170 مليون يورو.
عرض ليفربول كان سيجعل إيزاك ثاني أغلى لاعب في تاريخ كرة القدم الإنجليزية، حال موافقة نيوكاسل، إذ يتصدر فلوريان فيرتز المُنضم إلى ليفربول هذا الصيف قادماً من باير ليفركوزن الألماني، قائمة الأغلى بـ125 مليون يورو.
وكان إيزاك قد انضم إلى نيوكاسل في صيف 2022 قادماً من ريال سوسيداد الإسباني، مقابل 70 مليون يورو، وقدم مستوى مميزاً الموسم الماضي، حيث سجل 27 هدفاً وقدم 6 تمريرات حاسمة خلال الـ42 مباراة في مختلف المسابقات.
Newcastle United has rejected a historic offer from Liverpool to acquire their Swedish striker Alexander Isak during the current summer transfer window.
According to the Spanish newspaper "AS" - citing British reports - Newcastle turned down an offer from Liverpool worth £120 million (€138 million) for Alexander Isak.
It added that Newcastle values their player at €170 million.
The Liverpool offer would have made Isak the second most expensive player in the history of English football, had Newcastle agreed, as Florian Wirtz, who joined Liverpool this summer from Bayer Leverkusen, tops the list at €125 million.
Isak joined Newcastle in the summer of 2022 from Real Sociedad for €70 million, and he had an impressive season last year, scoring 27 goals and providing 6 assists in 42 matches across all competitions.
