أفادت تقارير صحفية بأن نادي نيوكاسل الإنجليزي أغلق باب الرحيل أمام نجمه السويدي ألكسندر إيزاك، في ظل اهتمام الهلال وليفربول بضمه خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية الحالية.
وبحسب ما أوردته صحيفة «تلغراف» البريطانية، فإن إدارة نيوكاسل تصرّ على أن إيزاك «ليس للبيع» تحت أي ظرف.
وأشارت الصحيفة إلى أن ذلك يُعدّ مؤشراً واضحاً على أهمية إيزاك بالنسبة للنادي، ورغبة الإدارة في التمسك به رغم اهتمام الهلال وليفربول.
وتتواصل التكهنات في وسائل الإعلام حول مستقبل المهاجم السويدي، ومن المتوقع أن يكشف النادي عن موقفه الرسمي خلال الأيام المقبلة، سواء باستمراره ضمن صفوف «الماكبايس» أو النظر في إمكانية رحيله.
وكان إيزاك قد انضم إلى نيوكاسل في صيف 2022 قادماً من ريال سوسيداد الإسباني، مقابل 70 مليون يورو، وقدم مستوى مميزاً الموسم الماضي، حيث سجل 27 هدفاً وقدم 6 تمريرات حاسمة خلال 42 مباراة في مختلف المسابقات.
