أكد تقرير صحفي، أن تشافي هيرنانديز، مدرب برشلونة السابق، عرض خدماته على الاتحاد الهندي لكرة القدم، لتدريب منتخب الهند الأول.
وبحسب صحيفة «India Today»، فإن تشافي تقدم بطلب لتولي منصب المدير الفني الجديد للمنتخب الهندي بعد رحيل مانولو ماركيز عن المنصب.
وأضافت أن طلب تشافي أصاب أعضاء اللجنة الفنية لاتحاد كرة القدم الهندي بالصدمة والذهول، نظراً لقيمته الكبيرة في عالم التدريب.
وتابعت أن الاتحاد الهندي استبعد إمكانية التعاقد مع تشافي هيرنانديز، بسبب التكلفة المالية المرتفعة.
ويرغب تشافي في العودة إلى التدريب في أقرب من وقت ممكن، بعد نحو عام كامل من إقالته من تدريب برشلونة، ويٌقال إنه يستهدف مشروعاً طموحاً، لكنه لم يتلق عرضاً مناسباً حتى الآن.

It added that Xavi's request shocked and stunned members of the technical committee of the All India Football Federation, given his significant value in the coaching world.
It continued that the Indian federation ruled out the possibility of hiring Xavi Hernandez due to the high financial cost.
Xavi wishes to return to coaching as soon as possible, after nearly a full year since his dismissal from Barcelona, and it is said that he is targeting an ambitious project, but he has not received a suitable offer yet.
