في تطور جديد لأزمة مباراة القمة بين الزمالك والأهلي في الدوري المصري الممتاز لموسم 2024-2025، أعلن عضو مجلس إدارة نادي الزمالك عمرو أدهم، أن المحكمة الرياضية الدولية (CAS) أكدت تسلم رد النادي عبر مكتب المحاماة السويسري المكلف بالرد على الشكوى المستعجلة التي تقدم بها نادي بيراميدز.

وكان نادي الزمالك أعلن في وقت سابق أن انسحاب الأهلي «مكتمل الأركان» يستوجب خصم 3 نقاط إضافية، إلى جانب النقاط الثلاث للمباراة، وفقًا للمادة 14.7 من لائحة المسابقة.
