حذرت روسيا اليوم (الثلاثاء)، الدنمارك على خلفية ما وصفته بـ«مناورة لمروحية دنماركية قرب سفن حربية روسية».
اتهمت الدنمارك اليوم، روسيا، بإطلاق قنبلتين مضيئتين باتجاه مروحية عسكرية دنماركية كانت تنفذ مهمة فوق بحر البلطيق، ووصفت رئيسة الوزراء ميته فريدريكسن الواقعة بأنها تصرف «غير مسؤول».
وقالت فريدريكسن عبر منصة «إكس» إن «الأعمال الروسية تهدف إلى الترهيب وزرع الفرقة، لكنها لن تنجح»، مضيفة أن الدنمارك «لن تتراجع».
من جانبه، وصف وزير الخارجية الدنماركي لارس لوكه راسموسن الحادثة بأنها «غير مقبولة مطلقاً»، مشدداً بالقول: كان من الممكن أن يعرض حياة أشخاص للخطر.
وأعلن راسموسن استدعاء السفير الروسي لتوضيح ملابسات الواقعة.
من جانبه، قال الجيش الدنماركي: وقعت الحادثة مساء الاثنين قبالة سواحل غيدسر في أقصى جنوب البلاد، عندما كانت المروحية تنفذ عملية تصوير روتينية قرب فرقاطة روسية موجودة في المياه الدولية، موضحاً أن الفرقاطة الروسية أطلقت قنبلتين باتجاه المروحية.
ولفت إلى أن إحداهما مرت على مقربة شديدة منها. ولم توضح السلطات ما إذا كانت المروحية تعرضت لأضرار.
وأفادت وسائل إعلام دنماركية بأن وزير الدفاع يبه بروس دعا ممثلي الأحزاب في البرلمان إلى اجتماع بمقر الوزارة لإطلاعهم على تفاصيل الحادث.
Russia warned Denmark today (Tuesday) regarding what it described as "maneuvers by a Danish helicopter near Russian warships."
Denmark accused Russia today of firing two flares at a Danish military helicopter that was conducting a mission over the Baltic Sea, with Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen describing the incident as "irresponsible."
Frederiksen stated on the platform "X" that "Russian actions aim to intimidate and sow discord, but they will not succeed," adding that Denmark "will not back down."
For his part, Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen described the incident as "absolutely unacceptable," emphasizing that it could have endangered lives.
Rasmussen announced the summoning of the Russian ambassador to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
The Danish military stated that the incident occurred on Monday evening off the coast of Gedser in the far south of the country, when the helicopter was conducting a routine filming operation near a Russian frigate present in international waters, explaining that the Russian frigate fired two flares at the helicopter.
It noted that one of them passed very close to it. The authorities did not clarify whether the helicopter sustained any damage.
Danish media reported that Defense Minister Jakob Ellemann-Jensen invited party representatives in parliament to a meeting at the ministry to inform them of the details of the incident.
