فيما وصل المبعوثان الأمريكيان ستيف ويتكوف وجاريد كوشنر إلى العاصمة الأوكرانية كييف، كشفت مصادر روسية وأمريكية اليوم (الأحد) عن لقاء مرتقب بين الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب والروسي فلاديمير بوتين والصيني شي جين بينغ.
ولم يستبعد مصدر روسي عقد اجتماع ثلاثي، لكنه أشار إلى ضرورة الاتفاق أولاً على جدول أعمال اللقاء ومضمونه قبل الانتقال إلى التحضيرات الفعلية لعقده. ونقلت وكالة «تاس» الروسية عن نائب وزير الخارجية سيرجي ريابكوف قوله: إن موسكو لا تستبعد إمكانية عقد الاجتماع، مضيفاً: «السؤال الرئيسي هنا يتمثل في كيفية صياغة مضمون الاجتماع، وما النتائج التي يمكن توقعها منه».
محادثات إيقاف الحرب في أوكرانيا
في المقابل، قالت مصادر أمريكية مطلعة إن المحادثات الروسية الأمريكية لن تؤدي إلى إيقاف حرب أوكرانيا فوراً، موضحة أن تقديرات واشنطن تشير إلى أن روسيا ستواصل استهداف أوكرانيا خلال الأشهر القادمة. ولفتت إلى أن هناك ترتيبات لعقد لقاءات بين الرئيس ترمب ونظيره الروسي بوتين خلال الأشهر القادمة، وأن محادثات ويتكوف وكوشنر في موسكو هي لترتيب هذا اللقاء.
وأشارت إلى أن لقاءات ويتكوف وكوشنر تهدف إلى الإسهام في ترتيب مزيد من عمليات تبادل الأسرى، كما أنها ناقشت مستقبل إدارة محطة زابوريجيا. وكان البيت الأبيض قد أعلن في وقت سابق أن المبعوثين الأمريكيين ناقشا مع الرئيس الروسي خططاً جوهرية بشأن إنهاء الحرب، في إطار مساعي واشنطن لإحياء مفاوضات السلام بين موسكو وكييف.
وقال مساعد الرئيس الروسي يوري أوشاكوف إن اجتماع الرئيس بوتين مع المبعوثين الأمريكيين استمر 3 ساعات و10 دقائق، وكان جوهرياً وبناءً، واتسم بقدر كبير من الصراحة والثقة، موضحاً أن ويتكوف وكوشنر وصلا إلى موسكو أمس بناءً على تعليمات من الرئيس الأمريكي الذي وجّه بمواصلة الحوار بشأن تسوية الأزمة في أوكرانيا، إلى جانب بحث قضايا أخرى ملحة، وأن هذه الزيارة الثامنة للمبعوثين الأمريكيين إلى روسيا.
ويتكوف وكوشنر في كييف
في الوقت ذاته، وصل المبعوثان الأمريكيان ستيف ويتكوف وجاريد كوشنر إلى العاصمة الأوكرانية كييف اليوم، قادمين من موسكو، وذلك في إطار المساعي الأمريكية لإنهاء حرب أوكرانيا.
واستقبل الرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي ويتكوف وكوشنر، موضحاً أن كييف مستعدة للحوار، وأن مقترحاتها لإنهاء الحرب جاهزة. وقبل اللقاء مع المبعوثين الأمريكيين، أجرى زيلينسكي اجتماعاً مع فريق التفاوض الأوكراني.
وقال زيلينسكي في منشور على منصة «إكس»: «عقدت اجتماعاً مع فريق التفاوض لدينا قبل الاجتماع مع مبعوثي رئيس الولايات المتحدة»، مضيفاً: «نحن جاهزون للحوار ونحن مهتمون بتقريب نهاية الحرب».
وأشار إلى أن السلام مطلوب، وضمانات الأمن مطلوبة، وطابع السلام ما بعد الحرب مطلوب، والاقتراحات جاهزة. من المهم العمل بشكل منسق وجوهري وواقعي.

Talks to End the War in Ukraine
In contrast, informed American sources stated that the Russian-American talks would not lead to an immediate end to the war in Ukraine, explaining that Washington estimates indicate that Russia will continue to target Ukraine in the coming months. They noted that arrangements are being made for meetings between President Trump and his Russian counterpart Putin in the coming months, and that Witkoff and Kushner's talks in Moscow are aimed at arranging this meeting.
They indicated that Witkoff and Kushner's meetings aim to contribute to arranging further prisoner exchanges, and they also discussed the future management of the Zaporizhzhia plant. The White House had previously announced that the American envoys discussed with the Russian president substantial plans regarding ending the war, as part of Washington's efforts to revive peace negotiations between Moscow and Kyiv.
Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov stated that the meeting between President Putin and the American envoys lasted 3 hours and 10 minutes, was substantive and constructive, and was characterized by a high degree of frankness and trust, explaining that Witkoff and Kushner arrived in Moscow yesterday based on instructions from the American president, who directed the continuation of dialogue regarding the resolution of the crisis in Ukraine, along with discussing other urgent issues, and that this is the eighth visit of American envoys to Russia.

At the same time, American envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner arrived in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv today, coming from Moscow, as part of American efforts to end the war in Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky welcomed Witkoff and Kushner, clarifying that Kyiv is ready for dialogue and that its proposals to end the war are ready. Before the meeting with the American envoys, Zelensky held a meeting with the Ukrainian negotiation team.
Zelensky stated in a post on the platform "X": "I held a meeting with our negotiation team before meeting with the envoys of the President of the United States," adding: "We are ready for dialogue and we are interested in bringing the war to an end."
He pointed out that peace is needed, security guarantees are required, the nature of post-war peace is necessary, and the proposals are ready. It is important to work in a coordinated, substantive, and realistic manner.
