وصل المبعوث الأمريكي الخاص ستيف ويتكوف، وجاريد كوشنر، صهر الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، إلى العاصمة الروسية موسكو، (السبت)، في أحدث تحرك أمريكي لدفع مسار المفاوضات الرامية إلى إنهاء الحرب في أوكرانيا، وسط فجوة واسعة لا تزال تفصل بين موسكو وكييف بشأن شروط السلام.
ونقلت وكالة «رويترز» عن مصدرين مطلعين على الزيارة بأن ويتكوف وكوشنر وصلا إلى موسكو، حيث كان في استقبالهما المبعوث الرئاسي الروسي كيريل دميترييف، الذي شارك في اللقاءات السابقة بين المفاوضين الأمريكيين والرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين.
وأظهرت لقطات خروج موكب يُعتقد أنه يقل المسؤولين الأمريكيين ودميترييف من مطار فنوكوفو الحكومي في موسكو متجهًا إلى وسط العاصمة.
تحرك أمريكي جديد
وتأتي الزيارة بعد أن أعلن ترمب، (الجمعة)، أن الولايات المتحدة لديها «مقترح ملموس جديد» يستهدف إنهاء الحرب المستمرة في أوكرانيا، دون أن يكشف تفاصيل المبادرة أو بنودها.
وكوشنر وويتكوف في روسيا
ومن المقرر، وفق ما أعلنه الرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي، أن يتوجه ويتكوف وكوشنر إلى أوكرانيا، (الأحد)، عقب انتهاء زيارتهما إلى موسكو، في خطوة تعكس محاولة واشنطن التواصل مع طرفي الحرب ضمن تحرك دبلوماسي متزامن.
وقال زيلينسكي، في منشور عبر منصة «إكس» (السبت)، إن روسيا نفذت ضربات استهدفت مطارين أوكرانيين قبيل زيارة المبعوثين الأمريكيين المرتقبة إلى كييف.
موسكو تتمسك بشروط بوتين
ورغم التحرك الأمريكي، لا تزال مواقف روسيا وأوكرانيا متباعدة بصورة كبيرة بشأن كيفية إنهاء الحرب، التي دخلت عامها الخامس وتُعد الأكثر دموية في أوروبا منذ الحرب العالمية الثانية.
وأكد الكرملين، (الجمعة)، أن الشروط التي حددها بوتين في خطاب ألقاه قبل عامين لا تزال «غير قابلة للتغيير».

وتتضمن المطالب الروسية أن تتخلى أوكرانيا عن كامل الأراضي التي تطالب موسكو بضمها في أربع مناطق، إلى جانب التخلي عن مساعيها للانضمام إلى حلف شمال الأطلسي «الناتو».
وتعد هذه المطالب من أبرز نقاط الخلاف بين الجانبين، في ظل رفض كييف التنازل عن أراضيها أو التخلي عن خياراتها المتعلقة بالتحالفات الأمنية.
تصعيد مستمر رغم جهود السلام
ويأتي التحرك الدبلوماسي الأمريكي في وقت لم تتوقف فيه العمليات العسكرية بين روسيا وأوكرانيا، بل شهدت الأشهر الأخيرة تصعيدًا في الهجمات بعيدة المدى.
ومنذ آخر جولة من محادثات السلام في فبراير، كثف الطرفان الهجمات الجوية التي تستهدف مواقع داخل أراضي الطرف الآخر، فيما تصاعدت أيضًا المواجهات في البحر.
وعلى خطوط القتال البرية، بقي الوضع إلى حد كبير ثابتًا، مع تحقيق القوات الروسية تقدمًا تدريجيًا في محاولتها السيطرة على كامل منطقة دونباس شرقي أوكرانيا.
في المقابل، شنت أوكرانيا هجمات بطائرات مسيرة على مصافي النفط الروسية، ما ساهم خلال الصيف في حدوث نقص في الوقود وارتفاع الأسعار بالنسبة إلى المستهلكين الروس.
كما تأثرت قطاعات من الاقتصاد الاستهلاكي الروسي بعد نحو 30 هجومًا استهدف مستودعات ضخمة، معظمها تابع لشركة «Wildberries»، أكبر شركة للتجارة الإلكترونية في روسيا.
هجوم على مقر الأمن الأوكراني
وفي أحدث تطورات التصعيد، تعرض مقر جهاز الأمن الأوكراني «SBU» في العاصمة كييف لهجوم بطائرة مسيرة روسية، (الجمعة)، في اليوم العاشر على التوالي من الهجمات المكثفة على العاصمة.
وتوعد زيلينسكي بالرد على الهجوم، في مؤشر على استمرار التصعيد العسكري بالتزامن مع التحركات الدبلوماسية التي تقودها واشنطن.
وتضع زيارة ويتكوف وكوشنر إلى موسكو ثم كييف الإدارة الأمريكية أمام اختبار صعب، إذ تسعى واشنطن إلى تقريب وجهات النظر بين الطرفين، بينما لا تزال شروط موسكو الأساسية متمسكة بمطالب إقليمية وأمنية ترفضها كييف.
U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, son-in-law of U.S. President Donald Trump, arrived in the Russian capital Moscow on Saturday, in the latest American move to advance negotiations aimed at ending the war in Ukraine, amid a wide gap that still separates Moscow and Kyiv regarding peace terms.
Reuters reported from two sources familiar with the visit that Witkoff and Kushner arrived in Moscow, where they were greeted by Russian presidential envoy Kirill Dmitriev, who participated in previous meetings between American negotiators and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Footage showed a convoy believed to be carrying the American officials and Dmitriev leaving Vnukovo government airport in Moscow heading towards the city center.
New American Initiative
The visit comes after Trump announced on Friday that the United States has a "new concrete proposal" aimed at ending the ongoing war in Ukraine, without revealing details of the initiative or its terms.

According to what Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced, Witkoff and Kushner are scheduled to head to Ukraine on Sunday, following their visit to Moscow, in a move that reflects Washington's attempt to engage with both sides of the war within a simultaneous diplomatic effort.
Zelensky stated in a post on the "X" platform on Saturday that Russia carried out strikes targeting two Ukrainian airports ahead of the anticipated visit of the American envoys to Kyiv.
Moscow Insists on Putin's Terms
Despite the American move, the positions of Russia and Ukraine remain significantly apart regarding how to end the war, which has entered its fifth year and is considered the deadliest in Europe since World War II.
The Kremlin confirmed on Friday that the conditions set by Putin in a speech delivered two years ago remain "non-negotiable."

Russian demands include that Ukraine relinquish all territories that Moscow claims in four regions, as well as abandoning its aspirations to join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

Ongoing Escalation Despite Peace Efforts
The American diplomatic move comes at a time when military operations between Russia and Ukraine have not ceased, and recent months have seen an escalation in long-range attacks.
Since the last round of peace talks in February, both sides have intensified aerial attacks targeting sites within each other's territories, while confrontations at sea have also escalated.
On the ground fighting lines, the situation has largely remained stable, with Russian forces making gradual progress in their attempts to control the entire Donbas region in eastern Ukraine.
In contrast, Ukraine has launched drone attacks on Russian oil refineries, contributing to a fuel shortage and rising prices for Russian consumers during the summer.
Additionally, sectors of the Russian consumer economy have been affected after nearly 30 attacks targeted large warehouses, most of which belong to "Wildberries," the largest e-commerce company in Russia.
Attack on Ukrainian Security Headquarters
In the latest developments of the escalation, the headquarters of the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) in the capital Kyiv was attacked by a Russian drone on Friday, marking the tenth consecutive day of intensive attacks on the capital.
Zelensky vowed to respond to the attack, indicating that military escalation continues alongside the diplomatic efforts led by Washington.
The visit of Witkoff and Kushner to Moscow and then Kyiv puts the U.S. administration to a tough test, as Washington seeks to bridge the gap between the two sides, while Moscow's fundamental conditions remain tied to regional and security demands that Kyiv rejects.
