أعلن الصليب الأحمر الدولي، اليوم (الجمعة)، نجاحه في إعادة 5 من الأسرى اللبنانيين من إسرائيل، منهم 4 اليوم وواحد أمس.
وقال الصليب الأحمر الدولي في بيان: سهلنا بطلب من الأطراف المعنية نقل 5 أفراد من إسرائيل إلى لبنان، 4 منهم اليوم والخامس نقلناه أمس، مضيفاً: دورنا في هذه العملية إنساني بحت وانخرطنا فيها كوسيط محايد بين إسرائيل ولبنان.
من جانبه، أعرب الرئيس اللبناني جوزيف عون عن شكره لكل المساعي والجهود التي بذلت، لا سيما من جانب الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية بقيادة رئيسها دونالد ترمب، والجهات الدولية، وفي مقدمها الصليب الأحمر الدولي، والتي أدت اليوم إلى تحرير الدفعة الأولى من المحتجزين اللبنانيين من قبل الحكومة الإسرائيلية.
وأضاف: إن هذه الخطوة الأولى تجدد التأكيد على جدوى الموقف اللبناني الصلب، بكل مكوناته، كما على ضرورة استكمال الخطوات المطلوبة، والتي نص عليها إطار العمل الثلاثي، وصولاً إلى استعادة السيادة اللبنانية الكاملة، غير منتقصة شبراً من أرضنا، ولا ناقصة إنساناً من شعبنا.
وجدد عون تعهده بالاستمرار بالنضال لتحقيق المطالب والأهداف الوطنية كاملة، مؤكداً التزامه بأن يعيش اللبنانيون بكرامة في وطن حر، لا سلاح على أرضه إلا لقواتهم الشرعية وحدها، ولا سيادة على أبنائهم إلا لدولتهم الحامية الضامنة القادرة والعادلة.
The International Red Cross announced today (Friday) its success in repatriating 5 Lebanese prisoners from Israel, including 4 today and one yesterday.
The International Red Cross stated in a statement: At the request of the concerned parties, we facilitated the transfer of 5 individuals from Israel to Lebanon, 4 of whom were transferred today and the fifth was transferred yesterday, adding: Our role in this operation is purely humanitarian, and we engaged as a neutral mediator between Israel and Lebanon.
For his part, Lebanese President Joseph Aoun expressed his gratitude for all the efforts made, particularly by the United States under President Donald Trump, and international entities, foremost among them the International Red Cross, which led to the release today of the first batch of Lebanese detainees by the Israeli government.
He added: This first step reaffirms the effectiveness of the firm Lebanese stance, with all its components, as well as the necessity to complete the required steps outlined in the tripartite framework, leading to the full restoration of Lebanese sovereignty, without compromising an inch of our land, nor lacking a single person from our people.
Aoun reiterated his commitment to continue the struggle to achieve the national demands and goals in full, affirming his dedication to ensuring that the Lebanese live with dignity in a free homeland, where no weapon exists on its soil except for their legitimate forces, and where sovereignty over their children belongs solely to their capable and just protecting state.
