على واقع التصعيد المتبادل بين موسكو وكييف، كشفت وسائل إعلام روسية، اليوم (الجمعة)، عزم المفاوضين الأمريكيين ستيف ويتكوف وجاريد كوشنر زيارة كييف وموسكو خلال الأيام القادمة.
ونقلت وكالة «تاس» الروسية عن مصدر قوله إن المعلومات بشأن الزيارتين صحيحة، لكنه لم يكشف موعدهما أو تفاصيل المحادثات المرتقبة في العاصمتين الأوكرانية والروسية.
جاء ذلك بالتزامن مع تأكيدات الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين أن روسيا وأوكرانيا تحافظان على اتصالات، لا سيما عبر أجهزة الأمن والاستخبارات، مبيناً أنه غير متأكد من مدى إسهام هذه الاتصالات في التوصل إلى تسوية.
من جانبه، قال الرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي إنه يأمل باستقبال مبعوثي الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب في كييف خلال الأيام القادمة، وذلك لاستئناف الجهود الرامية إلى إنهاء الحرب المستمرة منذ أكثر من 4 سنوات.
ميدانياً، أعلنت وزارة الدفاع الروسية استهداف قواتها سفينة شحن تحمل أسلحة غربية الصنع ومستودع معدات عسكرية-تقنية في ميناء تشيرنومورسك، إضافة لضرب سفينة شحن تحمل معدات عسكرية وذخيرة في ميناء يوجني.
وقالت الوزارة إن أنظمة الدفاع الجوي دمرت، خلال الليلة الماضية، 490 مسيرة أوكرانية في أجواء إقليم كراسنودار وجمهوريتي بشكيريا والقرم ومقاطعات بريانسك وبيلغورود وفورونيج وفولغوغراد وفلاديمير وكالوغا وكورسك وليبيتسك وأوريول وأورينبورغ وروستوف وريازان وساراتوف وسامارا وسمولينسك وتولا، وفوق موسكو وضواحيها، وفوق مياه البحر الأسود.
فيما قال القائم بأعمال حاكم مقاطعة بيلغورود الروسية، ألكسندر شوفايف، إن 5 أشخاص قتلوا وأصيب 14 آخرون جراء استهداف القوات الأوكرانية للمقاطعة خلال اليوم الماضي.
وأشار إلى أن القوات المسلحة الأوكرانية هاجمت أراضي مقاطعة بيلغورود 148 مرة خلال اليوم الماضي، مبيناً أن أنظمة الدفاع الجوي دمرت 123 طائرة مسيرة في أجواء المقاطعة.
في المقابل، أكدت وزارة الطاقة الأوكرانية اليوم مهاجمة روسيا لمنشآت البنية التحتية للطاقة في منطقة أوديسا جنوب البلاد خلال الليل، محذرة من احتمال اضطرارها لفرض قيود على الشبكة.
وذكر أوليه كيبر حاكم أوديسا أن شخصاً قتل وأصيب خمسة على الأقل في الهجوم.
Amid the escalating tensions between Moscow and Kyiv, Russian media revealed today (Friday) that American negotiators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner plan to visit Kyiv and Moscow in the coming days.
The Russian news agency "TASS" quoted a source stating that the information regarding the two visits is accurate, but he did not disclose their dates or details of the anticipated discussions in the Ukrainian and Russian capitals.
This comes alongside confirmations from Russian President Vladimir Putin that Russia and Ukraine maintain communications, particularly through security and intelligence agencies, noting that he is unsure how much these communications contribute to reaching a settlement.
For his part, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed hope to welcome emissaries from U.S. President Donald Trump in Kyiv in the coming days, aiming to resume efforts to end the war that has been ongoing for more than four years.
On the ground, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its forces targeted a cargo ship carrying Western-made weapons and a military-technical equipment depot in the port of Chernomorsk, in addition to striking a cargo ship carrying military equipment and ammunition in the port of Yuzhny.
The ministry stated that air defense systems destroyed 490 Ukrainian drones over the Krasnodar region and the republics of Bashkortostan and Crimea, as well as in the Bryansk, Belgorod, Voronezh, Volgograd, Vladimir, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Oryol, Orenburg, Rostov, Ryazan, Saratov, Samara, Smolensk, Tula regions, above Moscow and its suburbs, and over the Black Sea.
Meanwhile, the acting governor of the Belgorod region, Alexander Shuvaev, reported that five people were killed and 14 others injured due to Ukrainian forces targeting the region over the past day.
He noted that the Ukrainian armed forces attacked the Belgorod region 148 times in the past day, stating that air defense systems destroyed 123 drones in the region's airspace.
In contrast, the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy confirmed today that Russia attacked energy infrastructure facilities in the Odesa region in the south of the country during the night, warning of the possibility of having to impose restrictions on the grid.
Oleh Kiper, the governor of Odesa, mentioned that one person was killed and at least five were injured in the attack.
