أكد وزير الخدمة المدنية والتأمينات اليمني سالم ثابت العولقي أن الدعم المالي الجديد المقدم من السعودية للبنك المركزي اليمني يمثل ركيزة أساسية لدفع عجلة التعافي الاقتصادي الشامل، ورافدًا مباشرًا لتحسين الظروف المعيشية لموظفي القطاع العام وكافة أبناء الشعب اليمني.
وقال العولقي في تصريح خاص إلى «عكاظ»: «إن هذا الدعم المالي المعزز للمركز المالي للدولة ليس غريبًا على المملكة، فهو يمثل امتدادًا حيويًا ومباشرًا للمواقف الأخوية الثابتة والراسخة التي تتبناها السعودية في مساندة اليمن، ودعم مؤسساته الرسمية لتجاوز التحديات الاقتصادية والمعيشية الراهنة».
وأوضح وزير الخدمة المدنية أن هذه المساندة المالية تمنح الحكومة اليمنيّة رافعة قوية لتنفيذ حزمة الإصلاحات الاقتصادية والمالية، وتعزيز استقرار العملة الوطنية، وتحسين البيئة الاقتصادية؛ بما ينعكس بصورة إيجابية ومباشرة على معيشة المواطنين والموظفين، ويُعين أجهزة الدولة على أداء مهماتها بكفاءة واقتدار.
وشدد العولقي على أن الحكومة ماضية بعزم نحو ترسيخ الانضباط المؤسسي والإصلاح الإداري، ورفع كفاءة مؤسسات الخدمة العامة، لضمان تعظيم الفائدة من الدعم المقدم للبلاد، وتحويله إلى نتائج ملموسة تُسهم في تحسين الخدمات، واستعادة الثقة بمؤسسات الدولة، ودعم مسار التعافي الاقتصادي الشامل.
واختتم وزير الخدمة المدنية والتأمينات تصريحه بالشكر والامتنان للقيادة السعودية الرشيدة، ممثلة بخادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، وولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان؛ على اهتمامهما المباشر وحرصهما المستمر على تعزيز أركان الاستقرار الاقتصادي والمالي في اليمن.
The Yemeni Minister of Civil Service and Insurance, Salem Thabet Al-Awlaki, confirmed that the new financial support provided by Saudi Arabia to the Central Bank of Yemen represents a fundamental pillar for driving comprehensive economic recovery and a direct contributor to improving the living conditions of public sector employees and all the people of Yemen.
Al-Awlaki stated in a special statement to "Okaz": "This financial support, which enhances the state's financial position, is not strange to the Kingdom; it represents a vital and direct extension of the steadfast and solid brotherly positions adopted by Saudi Arabia in supporting Yemen and its official institutions to overcome the current economic and living challenges."
The Minister of Civil Service explained that this financial support provides the Yemeni government with a strong lever to implement a package of economic and financial reforms, enhance the stability of the national currency, and improve the economic environment; which will positively and directly reflect on the living conditions of citizens and employees, and assist state agencies in performing their tasks efficiently and effectively.
Al-Awlaki emphasized that the government is determined to establish institutional discipline and administrative reform, and to raise the efficiency of public service institutions, to ensure maximizing the benefits of the support provided to the country and transforming it into tangible results that contribute to improving services, restoring confidence in state institutions, and supporting the path of comprehensive economic recovery.
The Minister of Civil Service and Insurance concluded his statement by expressing gratitude and appreciation to the wise Saudi leadership, represented by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman, for their direct interest and continuous keenness to strengthen the pillars of economic and financial stability in Yemen.
