تواصل الأجهزة الأمنية السورية نجاحاتها في تفكيك خلايا داعش الإرهابي وفلول الأسد في عدد من المدن والأرياف، وذلك بعد إعلان وزارة الداخلية السورية اليوم (الثلاثاء) القبض على قياديين بارزين في تنظيم داعش الإرهابي ونظام الأسد البائد.
ونقلت وكالة الأنباء السورية «سانا» عن وزارة الداخلية أن اللواء سهيل نديم عباس الذي قُبض عليه شارك في عدد من العمليات العسكرية والانتهاكات بحق السوريين في عدة محافظات.
وقالت الوزارة إن التحقيقات أظهرت أن عباس شارك في معارك تلول الصفا بالسويداء عام 2018، وفي العمليات العسكرية بدرعا وحمص وإدلب، إضافة إلى إصداره أوامر بإطلاق النار واستخدام المدفعية والراجمات خلال عدد من تلك العمليات.

في غضون ذلك، تمكنت قوى الأمن الداخلي وجهاز الاستخبارات العامة بالتعاون مع الشركاء الدوليين، من القبض على حمزة عبدالله محمد الملقب بـ«أبو جهاد المهاجر»، والمصنّف كأحد القياديين العسكريين البارزين في تنظيم داعش الإرهابي، وذلك عبر عملية أمنية محكمة نُفّذت في ريف مدينة منبج بمحافظة حلب.
وأوضحت وزارة الداخلية السورية أن «أبو جهاد المهاجر» شغل منصب العسكري العام لولاية الشام في تنظيم داعش الإرهابي، كما سبق له أن شغل منصب نائب العسكري العام السابق للتنظيم، الملقب بـ«الحارثي»، وقبل ذلك تولّى مسؤولية ولاية إدلب التابعة للتنظيم مستخدماً اللقب ذاته.
وتأتي هذه العملية في إطار الجهود الأمنية المتواصلة لملاحقة خلايا وقيادات تنظيم داعش الإرهابي وتفكيك شبكاته، ومنع محاولاته الرامية إلى إعادة تنظيم صفوفه وتهديد أمن المواطنين والاستقرار في البلاد.
The Syrian security forces continue their successes in dismantling ISIS terrorist cells and remnants of Assad in several cities and rural areas, following the announcement by the Syrian Ministry of Interior today (Tuesday) of the arrest of prominent leaders in the ISIS terrorist organization and the fallen Assad regime.
The Syrian news agency "SANA" reported from the Ministry of Interior that Major General Suhail Nadim Abbas, who was arrested, participated in several military operations and violations against Syrians in various provinces.
The ministry stated that investigations revealed that Abbas participated in the battles of Talul al-Safa in Sweida in 2018, and in military operations in Daraa, Homs, and Idlib, in addition to issuing orders to open fire and use artillery and rocket launchers during several of those operations.

Meanwhile, the internal security forces and the General Intelligence Directorate, in cooperation with international partners, managed to arrest Hamza Abdullah Muhammad, known as "Abu Jihad al-Muhajir," who is classified as one of the prominent military leaders in the ISIS terrorist organization, through a well-coordinated security operation carried out in the countryside of Manbij city in Aleppo province.
The Syrian Ministry of Interior clarified that "Abu Jihad al-Muhajir" held the position of the overall military commander for the Levant in the ISIS terrorist organization, and he previously served as the deputy of the former overall military commander of the organization, known as "al-Harithi." Before that, he was responsible for the Idlib province affiliated with the organization, using the same title.
This operation comes as part of ongoing security efforts to pursue the cells and leaders of the ISIS terrorist organization, dismantle its networks, and prevent its attempts to reorganize and threaten the security of citizens and stability in the country.
