في إطار مواقفها الإنسانية المساندة للسكان في اليمن، تواصل المملكة العربية السعودية عبر ذراعها التنموية «البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن» دعمها لقطاع الطاقة؛ حيث تتأهب العاصمة اليمنية المؤقتة عدن، فجر غدٍ (الجمعة)، لاستقبال الدفعة الأولى من مولدات المحطة الإسعافية للطاقة بقدرة 100 ميجاوات، في خطوة إستراتيجية يُعوّل عليها كثيراً لإنعاش المنظومة الخدمية وتطويق أزمة الانقطاعات المتكررة.
وفي تفاصيل المشهد الميداني الذي تابعته «عكاظ»، انطلقت طلائع الدفعة الأولى من مولدات وتجهيزات محطة التوليد الكهربائية الجديدة، المكوّنة من مولدات ومعدات فنية، متجهة نحو عدن، تمهيداً لدخولها الخدمة فور استكمال التركيب.
محطات إستراتيجية بقدرة 300 ميجاوات
وتأتي هذه الدفعة في إطار مشروع إستراتيجي لإنشاء 3 محطات توليد كهربائية جديدة بنظام (BOT)، بقدرة إجمالية تبلغ 300 ميجاوات، بواقع 100 ميجاوات للعاصمة المؤقتة عدن، و100 ميجاوات لساحل حضرموت، و100 ميجاوات لوادي وصحراء حضرموت.
ويُعد وصول هذه الدفعة الفنية تدشيناً عملياً للمرحلة الأولى من المشروع الإستراتيجي الضخم، الذي تجسد ثمرة لمذكرة تفاهم مشتركة أبرمتها وزارة الكهرباء والطاقة اليمنية مع البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن وشركة الخليج العالمية للطاقة الكهربائية، وشهد مراسم توقيعها سفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى اليمن المشرف العام على البرنامج محمد بن سعيد آل جابر؛ تأكيداً على التنسيق الرفيع والمشترك للارتقاء بالبنية التحتية والخدمات الأساسية في اليمن ودعم مسار التنمية المستدامة.
تعزيز البنية التحتية والاستقرار الكهربائي
ويجسد المشروع مستوى التعاون التنموي بين المملكة العربية السعودية والجمهورية اليمنية، ويستهدف تعزيز البنية التحتية لقطاع الكهرباء، ورفع قدراته التوليدية، ودعم التنمية المستدامة، بما يتوافق مع توجهات الحكومة اليمنية وبرامج إصلاحاتها الشاملة.
استجابة لتحديات الطاقة
ويأتي الدعم السعودي في توقيت بالغ الأهمية، وسط تحديات جسيمة تعصف بالمنظومة الكهربائية في عدن والمحافظات المجاورة؛ حيث ينتظر أن تسهم محطات التوليد الجديدة عقب استكمال تنفيذها ودخولها الخدمة التشغيلية الكاملة في إحداث استقرار ملموس في إمدادات التيار الكهربائي، ورفد المنظومة بطاقة إضافية تخفف من حدة الانقطاعات.
يُذكر أن هذه الخطوة تؤكد ريادة المملكة في مساندة القطاعات الحيوية والخدمية في اليمن، وتأتي امتداداً لسلسلة المشاريع التنموية والإنسانية المستدامة التي يضطلع بها البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن، سعياً للارتقاء بمستوى الخدمات الأساسية وانعكاسها إيجابياً على تحسين الظروف المعيشية للمواطنين اليمنيين.
As part of its humanitarian positions supporting the population in Yemen, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continues through its developmental arm "Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen" to support the energy sector; as the temporary Yemeni capital, Aden, is preparing to receive the first batch of emergency power generators with a capacity of 100 megawatts early tomorrow (Friday), in a strategic step that is highly anticipated to revitalize the service system and contain the crisis of repeated outages.
In the details of the field scene followed by "Okaz", the first batch of generators and equipment for the new power generation station, consisting of generators and technical equipment, has begun its journey towards Aden, in preparation for entering service as soon as installation is completed.
Strategic Stations with a Capacity of 300 Megawatts
This batch comes as part of a strategic project to establish 3 new power generation stations under the (BOT) system, with a total capacity of 300 megawatts, with 100 megawatts for the temporary capital Aden, 100 megawatts for the coast of Hadhramaut, and 100 megawatts for the Wadi and Desert of Hadhramaut.
The arrival of this technical batch represents a practical launch of the first phase of the massive strategic project, which embodies the fruit of a joint memorandum of understanding signed by the Yemeni Ministry of Electricity and Energy with the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen and the Gulf International Energy Company, with the signing ceremony attended by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Yemen, the General Supervisor of the Program, Mohammed bin Saeed Al Jaber; affirming the high-level and joint coordination to enhance infrastructure and basic services in Yemen and support the path of sustainable development.
Enhancing Infrastructure and Electrical Stability
The project embodies the level of developmental cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Yemen, aiming to enhance the infrastructure of the electricity sector, increase its generation capacities, and support sustainable development, in line with the directions of the Yemeni government and its comprehensive reform programs.
Response to Energy Challenges
The Saudi support comes at a critically important time, amidst serious challenges facing the electrical system in Aden and the neighboring provinces; as the new generation stations are expected to contribute, once completed and fully operational, to achieving a noticeable stability in electricity supply and providing the system with additional energy that alleviates the severity of outages.
It is worth noting that this step confirms the Kingdom's leadership in supporting vital and service sectors in Yemen, and comes as an extension of a series of sustainable developmental and humanitarian projects undertaken by the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, in an effort to elevate the level of basic services and positively reflect on improving the living conditions of Yemeni citizens.
